She is part of an ever expanding group of young adults fighting to keep the Irish language at the forefront, and changing the way the language is taught in the Irish school system...

And "hats off" to her because I've read that it's quite a challenge. That's why schools like this are important--students get to apply, maybe even correct, what they've been "suffering through" all year by singing, making videos and having fun for 2-3 weeks during the summer.

David Thaler You got that right, the language immersion classes that Collaiste Lurgan does stresses that the language need not be a burden but can even be fun and useful in everyday life...The videos are done at the end of the classes kind of like a "reward", the "kids" get to use what they have learned to do something fun and exciting. As far as the languages future, they are now battling the Government, because there is a push to get "Irish" removed as the official language and have English replace it. On the good side, there have been protest marches in Dublin in support of the Irish language....

I suggest the app duolingo, or else maybe try to find someone who is fluent if possible, i have fluent irish and would love to help but to be honest, id be a terrible teacher!
