Lmao produces her own beats? See this has set the standard of laziness in music! Fucking pathetic how bout buy a drum set and actually learn how to play the damn set instead of having a drum interface simulating ginger snaps and hi hats. I’ve watched street musicians with waaayyy more talent then this Amy wine house wannabe. Call it what is a corporate concoction of a keyboardist hitting certain keys to imitate a choir and a dude with a drum pad and a drugged out teenager. That’s why in 2019 she’s almost nonexistent now

Can somebody explain why this girl has so many haters? I came by chance to this tune about two weeks ago hearing a Brother Strut cover (my favorite) and then heard the original. Not my cup of tea, but, to be honest i am really surprised the quantity of hate comments rather than natural comments. Why is it different with her?

Do you see what I'm saying? Criticism only invites more criticism! Dysfunction can only lead to further dysfunction. I like to appreciate anything and everything that people create with the intention of bringing joy to others. I wish that more people would feel this way. Don't you?!
@ptsdjoe49569 жыл бұрын
Every human has haters. Not just music artists. There are simply people that look for things to hate or disagree with. And as I was saying, they will always be able to find something among all of the imperfect things that can be criticized. Again, everything and everyone can be criticized. That's easy. That's what lazy people do. They do what's easiest. However, that's their own dysfunction. That's what others can criticize about them. Ergo, "judge not, lest ye be judged". I'm just say'in...

I love this version. I've heard the studio produced version, and thought it was good. But this version is great - raw, real, gritty. Those who say she can't sing or comment on her not looking like some idealised "sex-symbol" seem to be missing the whole point of who she is and what she stands for. Haters gonna hate. Sad little people who never lived their dreams and have ended up bitter.

everyone who is hating, just shut up, she doesn't use autotune in the studio and when she's performing live, this is how she wants it. she changes the way she sings any song live. she can hit the notes perfectly if she wanted to and she doesn't have elipsy or seizures, it's just her way of dancing around to the music, just accept it. she even said that she dances around like gollum in one of her vevo lift videos and she's almost embarrassed about it. her mum (sonja yelich) would call you all disgusting for saying that. if you don't have anything nice to say, shut up. ella (lorde) is dealing with death threats and people dissing her every single day. would you like it if random people were giving you death threats and disses each day? no, i don't think so, so shut up.

I hate that people are ridiculing her for her hand movements and looks. Movement during preforming music is common with most passionate musicians, its the creative side of the brain taking over, they can truly 'feel' the music! It shows that they aren't holding themselves back! and so what she has pale legs, (the lighting isnt perfect in some angles which doesn't help) just because she hasn't dived into a pool of fake tan like the majority these days, you should respect the fact she is comfortable in her own skin. We'e all entitled to our own opinion, this is mine. if yours is constructive do everyone a favor, and keep it to yourself! Rant over. Thanks for your time. I don't know why you're still reading this ;) Byeeee :DD

People rushed him to the hospital but he died from the burn wounds. The woman is helping as many animals as she can I am infinitely grateful to her. Please every single person must help the animals. Give the animals water to drink. Bring hydrated Sodium Bentonite clay with you and apply heavy layers of it onto burn wounds it will take the pain away and help the animals heal faster.

@tessenfan10 жыл бұрын
As I've said on many of her live performances: Her movements are not pointless. Every singer or general musician has a habit formed in order to keep in time/feel their music, even if only for specific songs. People tap their toes, nod their heads, snap their fingers, which the average person would probably consider "keeping it simple," but other musicians "go crazy"; some, like Gaga, have 'convulsions' during piano music, people ball their hands into fists, throw their heads back, etc.. Kelly Rowland used to do a lot with her hands especially back in Destiny's Child days, and I didn't see many people saying she was on crack for doing so. From what I've seen in many of her performances, Lorde just has a habit of clawing her hands and popping her arms to keep the beat and feel her own song. Notice that said 'convulsions', 'prayers to Satan', 'heroin reactions', etc., have no negative effect on her singing. If you are an actual singer, whether it be pop, rock, choir, alternative, anything . . . you should know what I'm talking about. You should also remember that she isn't an American girl! What did you expect, for her to stand there, feet together, hands folded, staring straight ahead, making not one facial expression, just so she can look to us judgemental people that she's not "misusing drugs"? Someone could come from like, Botswana, and think that we're crazy witch doctors for tapping our toes. Her singing is perfectly fine; it wasn't meant to sound like the typical American pop song, which is why it's also on our Alternative charts, but that really doesn't mean you just have to throw out insults because of it.
@onedirectionwriter10 жыл бұрын
Her album is called pure heroine, i think she took it before her performance...
@tessenfan10 жыл бұрын
Well. Seeing as I've pretty much completely shot down the assumption that she's on drugs for any LOGICAL reasons, people now want to say she's on drugs because of her album title, which is based on the feminine form of the word HERO. It is extremely unlikely that she named her album after an illegal drug; even if she did for some reason, if she was trying to be punny, I highly doubt that she's doing said drugs, as her mother travels on tour with her. What if I said One Direction is called One Direction because their sexual interest points in one direction, and that's toward other men? I may not like One Direction, but that doesn't mean I believe they're all gay. That is a very prejudice comment, and it also sounds just as stupid.

I like her because of her strange essence. It's creepy and different. I feel like she's being pure and feeling the music rather than performing it. Yeah obviously there's better singers out there but there's something dark and mesmerizing about the way she performs. I can't be one of you haters.

The first mainstream artist to come out and be downright WEIRD and original in these last years. Let the hate flow. You got lots of people confused and fucking stumped because of your "little twitches" and your hand movements, keep going. They can't tolerate anythin that's not your generic pop artist.

kajo H You sir have earned a place in my small council of gentlemen. Just wait until economy collapses and we take over the world and put Hicks and George Carlin on every TV channel.

***** Sounds good. As long as we throw in a few Lorde vids too, you can count me in. You ever listen to Terence McKenna's stuff on youtube?
@MetaLeir939 жыл бұрын
kajo H No idea who that is. I'm usually into metal and alternative stuff but a man's gotta give a listen to all kinds of music. So maybe i'll check that out

McKenna was a philosopher, and a psychonaut. He talked about psychedelics and the changing times. Hicks was a McKenna listener. I remember hearing him mention Mckenna in his last routine he did before passing. McKenna coined the term "Hero Dose" referring to the amount of mushrooms it takes to get a full fledged internal experience. Any Hicks/Carlin fan should give him a listen. I know you've got to be a Tool fan. Lorde is out of usual for me as well. Bob Dylan, Pink Floyd, Jefferson Airplane, A Perfect Circle, Tool, etc are my usual. But when I first heard Royals I was an instant Lorde fan. I've listened to her non stop for over a year now. If you like Psychedelic music give Ultimate Spinach a listen. Their early stuff is best.
