Royals is the lead single off Lorde’s 2012 breakout EP The Love Club. Wow…this video used to confuse me, but after listening to Pure Heroine in full, I now see that several scenes are references to songs on the album. Guy gets buzzcut- Buzzcut Season Boxing match- Glory and Gore Swimming Pool- No Better and Swingin Party both mention swimming.
