The whole movie was him telling the story of his hero of a mother, how she supported him and loved him and I like to think he made it and was weaving his tell to his youngsters, such a great movie 😭☺️

in the beginning of the movie, when the television program is interrupted, his grandmother asks him if the movie is over. he never replied, being the melancholic child he was. now, after all that happened, many years later when he looks back at his adventure and remembers her question, he finally replies "yes grandmother, the movie is over".

una hermosa película para mi la enajenación de Champion con el ciclismo la obesidad mórbida de todos los personajes de la ciudad los mafiosos cargados como bebés entre sus guardaespaldas el tren pasando al lado de las viviendas el tono amargado de la ciudad un anciano Champion respondiendo a la voz de su madre muerta y las ancianas... las únicas funcionales en ese extraño mundo y además glorias de un pasado elegante y estelar para mi en el fondo es una crítica a la decadencia del mundo que alguna vez fue un lugar hermoso pero inevitablemente se convierte en cenizas
