It was actually you that first showed me Lordi right around Arockalypse. And I dug it. But I really didn't become a super fan until Babez for Breakfast. That's the one that really hooked me.

Wow! There's so much creativity on display here across the board. First off, a fictional discography is just an absolutely brilliant concept in and of itself. And that's on top of the fact that the band looks incredibly cool and the album artwork is stellar. In terms of music, I'm a guy stuck mostly on 90's rap, but I'm more than happy to give anything and everything a chance. Great vid Rob, I am totally looking forward to checking this out and here's hoping some Lordi action figures are on the way. Have a good weekend my friend!

It is definitely one of the most unique releases I have ever heard of. I remember thinking G'n'R's Use Your Illusions was such an interesting concept. This just took it to the next 7 levels. But If 90s rap is your thing, not really sure there's a good starting point for you into Lordi. But you never know. Thanks for watching, pal. I do appreciate it.

I pre-ordered mine some time ago and it still took me a bit to get mine. I think there was some kind of delay with the overseas versions. But either way, it was well worth the wait. Thanks for watching, Jamie.

@@AtomicSnackBar would't we all love figures of them. I know that back in the early 2000s there was a set of figurines released by a company in Finland but I couldn't afford them back then. They occasionally come up for auction but for super-silly money. My fave album of their's is Monstereophonic. Or more specifically the second half - Demonarchy. It is the fact that they are so totally open to playing and experimenting with various different styles. I alway thought it was the progenitor for Lordiversity.

Ahhh, good old Lrodi :) I remember when they entered the eurovision song contest, that was when I was first introduced to them. The price is good good me, for all of those albums Un a fancy cover, plus it looks like they've put a lot of effort into the cover art on the albums too. I think it's fantastic that the look of the covers suit the time period of the styles too

Thank you for reviewing this boxset. I really didn't know much about Lordi. This is the type of thing alot of bands should do, with the demise of physical media. This is the type of set that you have to have in your hands. Fantastic video Mr. Gray. Thank you for introducing me to some goodness.

Even with all the cool imagery and boxset release aside, they are just a great band. And very very Horrific Jason friendly. Even if you don't jump right into Lordiversity, I highly recommend you start with Babez for Breakfast. Fantastic album. Thanks for watching, J-Man.

I vividly remember discovering Lordi when they played at the Eurovision Song Contest. In a sea of, cheesy pop acts, they were the coolest thing I’ve ever seen - and they actually won it! This has cool concepts all over the place - the 70’s throwbacks, the little posters making one big poster - love it! Very cool stuff! I’d buy a Lordi action figure

Eurovision was about the time I discovered them as well, but I didn't know what Eurovision was at the time. So it really didn't hit home what an accomplishment that was. Even though the band hates it and has disowned it, there is a documentary about them called Monsterman. It talks a good bit about all that. Thanks for watching, Sir Brynly. I hope you'll enjoy the rest of the albums as well. This box is incredible, and well worth the price. For the past couple weeks this has been all I've listened to. So much good stuff on there. Humanimals is my absolute favorite of these albums with its brilliant guitar solos and massive choruses, though Abusement Park and Superflytrap come very close.

I didn't mention in the video, but this was technically a Christmas present. But I wanted to make sure and get the review out in case any fans were on the fence about getting it. After the review was finished, the set went under the Christmas tree. If not for that, I would have listened to each backwards and forwards by now. I have a feeling Humanimals will be my favorite or second favorite as well. Thanks for stopping by the lounge.

Lordi is awesome. Hard. Rock. Hallelujah. Very cool set! Not a bad price for 7 of their albums either l, especially with the extras included. Their disco stuff is amazing too so glad you spent some time talking about that. Nice video Sterling, not too many people give Lordi props anymore. At least recently. I’m sure you have, but wanted to ask if you’ve seen Dark Waters? Man I might pull the trigger and snag this. Lordi music FTW but I can’t get over how beautiful this set is!

You know, I haven't seen Dark Floors since I became a big Lordi fan. I might should give it another shot. I remember it being really cool and liking it...cept maybe the ending. But yeah, I would snatch this up soon. Can't say for sure, but from my experience, music boxsets seem to go out of print quickly. Thanks for watching, Cap. Cool review! Humanimals is an absolute banger (and it has my favourite album cover ever) , but my favourite is Superflytrap, even though I'm listening to Spooky Sextravaganza non stop these days 🤣. They did such an outstanding work, I wish it would be recognized more in the whole music scene. Quick question, will you review each album separately?

From what I'm gathering from the comments here, most folks seem to lean towards Humanimals. Interestingly, most of the band likes Super Flytrap the best. I see why though. It was darn good. I actually haven't gotten to listen to the others yet. The set was technically a Christmas present. So it went under the tree after I filmed the review. That is a great question about reviewing the albums separately. I'm really not sure. I haven't covered music much on the channel. It's been a surprise this video has done as well as it has. That is one fantastic looking Boxset. To bad it came damaged especially considering the price you paid and just in general being a collector and having your purchase come in damaged. That really had to be disappointing. So it seems like you listen to a lot of Lordi. I was wondering if you had a all time favorite album?I don’t really know this band all that well but I had recently been listening to the Sexorcism album and have really been digging that one. I know it’s a newer album but I get a smile on my face every time I hear Your Tongue’s Got The Cat. Anyway this is a excellent looking Boxset and I consider that to be a good price for seven albums. Your video has me wanting to listen to more Lordi so if that was your purpose of the video then consider it to be a success good buddy.

In recent years Lordi really has gone from a band I just really liked to one of my favorites. I don't have their full discog yet, but I have quite a few. One of the rare bands where I want to collect everything they've done. As far as my favorite, that is easy. Babez for Breakfast. Which, co-inky dinkily, is Mr. Lordi's favorite as well. Until Abusement Park and Humanials, it was their most 80s sounding album. Very very good. Thanks for watching, Lord of the Superawesomes. Do check out Babez for Breakfast. To Beast or Not to Beast is a great one as well.
