@@ImmaOnDaInternetz Yeah, I definitely get the vibe that he’s just insecure and lonely and probably more than a little depressed too. I would love to see him get some help to deal with his issues and hopefully become more confident and content with himself. And if he becomes less of a chud while he’s at it, then that’ll just be the cherry on top! I mean, he has like almost no viewers, so it’s not like he’s doing any real harm as he is. Came here for the lolz, stayed for the feels. I can't but wish him all the best. Alcohol ruined the better part of my life, and I didn't even drink. Take your time to come clean, both physically and mentally, Dave. As a kid I was constantly surrounded by alcohol and its ill effects on people, basically every month or two one of the drinking buddies of my father died for it. I was watching people slowly wither away each sip and become husks of their former selves. It's shit and I don't like seeing people in this condition.

Heck, he could get away with not shaving if he started taking care of his hair. It’s not bad, it’s just super flat and that can easily be fixed by just using a good shampoo and conditioner and resetting the follicles with heat and cold, which he could do in the shower.

alcoholism is a bitch to be fair. Thankfully when I drink I'm just more me, I don't get violent or aggressive, I just say things I would usually keep bottled up. Not nasty things either, just feelings. But it's not like... if you're an alcoholic and you can talk about how it's not good while drunk it doesn't mean you can just stop drinking on the spot, that isn't how that works. There's a lot of aspects to it. Because you know once you stop all that shit is going to catch up with you, even if you didn't do anything wrong, and there's the nightmares and whatever it was you were avoiding by drinking. It doesn't help that alcoholics are so... looked down upon, to say the least. People dismiss whatever feelings you expressed while drunk, even when they weren't negative ones. The way people treat you while drunk like you have no idea what you're saying even when you do. Like your feelings don't matter at all. I'm sure a lot of that was tied up in my own experience but it is what is is. People are different. I am certainly not speaking for Dave here.

Even if you can’t see the positives all the time, trying to view something from a more neutral standpoint is much more healthy. Much less of “this is obviously x” in uncertain circumstances, and more of “x is a possibility, but I will wait to make judgment until I have more information”. That mindset has helped me through a lot of situations, and I hope that this could maybe help you too.
