I like BBQ'ed food or just food but will not go to any lengths to do anything fancy or use fancy tools for it. I cook very well, just not fancy. Gotta say, I'm not loving Raichlen. He's too much of a fancy busy body. So I get the general annoyance Dave has but I still think he's a sad little man who can't cook and enjoy making fun of him from time to time :-D

By the way, a filet mignon is generally supposed to have a sauce. Sure you can eat it without one but many chefs will ask why. It has no fat, make a butter sauce or something. If you want to let the meat shine through use a New York strip. Something with high marbling. Dave knows nothing about cooking

I think I get what he's disagreeing about around 14:50 -- it's not necessarily the type of wood being used in the video that's giving it the smoky flavor, but rather how it's being used. He might be trying to say that better woods could be used while keeping the same method, and you'd get a better flavor. That being said, he's still a goon.

Bad Empanada did have some reasonable points in his weird upsetti spaghetti take down of breadtube and one was about how streams are easy and cutting streams down to clips is easy compared to making proper videos and not every section you end up doing on a stream is actually worth posting. This was not. Dave wasn't being stupid enough and you called it "Dave just hates Everything" but it comes across as "Jake just hates Dave".
