Another boss run from me. I waited for release of this game for some time. In the end, it was worth the wait. Not a bad 2d platformer inspired by many old games like Shadow of the Ninja, for example. The difficulty is not very high and there are quite a few checkpoints on stages so the game can be completed in one evening. Not many additioncal challenges for this boss run. Just a usual "no subweapons" aside from defeting every boss without taking damage. Enjoy.

Do wish it would have came out with the video game systems. Would have played this more than Bloodstained maybe.

It's fitting that you mention Shadow of the Ninja, as it is going to have a new entry in that franchise this year (2024), and, yes it will be multi-platform.

@@paxhumana2015 That’s good then but not sure when though. Pretty sure there needs to be some bugs addressed in order to make that happen but wait & see I guess.

These might just be 8 bit graphics and music, but the developper really made it shine. I particularily enjoyed the Serpent's Heart parasite boss fight.

I wouldn't be surprised if they say it's the same universe. Imagine: Gabriel is a descendant of Zangetsu. And Galagar got his power from Sariel.

I backed this one, and I think it was worth it. Some very well thought out stage design. Now the real question is, will you be the first to do a no damage boss run of Violet Wisteria?

While the game is really neat, has solid retro style, and Arek kicks ass at it... am I the only one being weirded out when one of these Metroidvanias doesn't have damage when coliiding with an enemy's sprite? Am I too old school? Edit: Also, holy shit, is the final boss a Guyver Tekkaman? Nice.

I wish they would find a way to make a game better than infernax. I keep buying these Castlevania clones and none of them even come close, especially this when he walks slower than the game boy version of Castlevania and the jumping is horrendous. Not a bad effort but glad I got it on sale
