The incident on Sunday when Retired Maj. Gen. Matayo Kyaligonza and his army bodyguards were accused of assaulting a female police traffic officer, has cast the controversial general back into the limelight in a less-than favourable manner. Maj. Gen. Kyaligonza has been accused several times of abusing his power and privilege. In this special report, SOLOMON KAWEESA digs deeper into Kyaligonza's past and more incidents involving senior army officers who seem to be lords of impunity

Matayo Kyaligonza has had a criminal record ever since the National resistance war days. He several times ordered the killing of government soldiers who had been captured in battle as prisoners of war. I remember one incident in Mityana where he ordered the killing of 20 UNLA soldiers on grounds that his son had been killed sometime back by UNLA soldiers. The NRA code forbade the killing of prisoners of war, unless they became violent. Kyaligonza has always believed that he is above the law.

Very primitive mentality of the people who are in charge of our country. We should take up arms against those thugs!!

Some wisdom for you; when God stp loving some people, He expose their acts to the public, for the public to get protection... how.. in terms of resistance or avoidance etc. And slowly God brings them down...who the aggressors ...while giving them time to repent.. but if they fail and surely always fail, He catches then an a wear and then the game is over... Read story of Pherals and the current one you know.

Only that he sometimes talks about the wrongs of his govt.and tends to joke and give advise to youth that's why he's not like them but still there question marks on him too... Discipline is the altimate thing you can never miss out in every sector of life, he is somewhat arrogant, proud, and selfish.
