I've always wanted to see a Draft where you can watch any one of the eight people drafting. Like they're all recorded, they each make their own choices and explain them and build their decks and read signals, but then afterwards you get to follow a pack around and see what motivates choices and how the whole draft experience takes place. Would be cool.

I sure learned something about navigating trainwreck drafts. Also, your games were epic!

You guys had some great banter in this draft. Really enjoyed the games.

Love the flavour of a test coming up and you haven't learned at all so you happily take a cram session.

That was pretty great from a draft point of view and the games were so back and forth!

Thank you very much for the awesome limited content, specially for this format. Just so difficult to evaluate, both the draft and the games. Some decks look awesome and end up with sub-par results

Jadzi noooo... That's a great card. I don't know if you had enough ramp, but providing you did it would work fantastic. Sure did for me in the past.

Sweet vid. I would have liked to see a quick look at each other's pack 1 picks like last time.

During draft Ben tanked his deck allowing Ethan to benefit. It was very cool to watch how that happened.

Awesome drafts! The next podcast episode could be dissecting ben’s train wreck :)? Also, could you please do 5 game matches rather than 3? It removes draw variation.

That game three. Wow.

is maindecking Negate worth it in this format?
@moocowp49703 жыл бұрын
I'm not great at drafting but I'd say so. I think counters in general are pretty good because people don't expect them in draft/don't play around them like they would in constructed. Negate is handy against the big fractal summons and prismari spells. But even more importantly, with the Learn/Lessons mechanic you are almost guaranteed to have a target for negate and to know what it is.

big punt not fizzling rootha copy by bouncing Eager first year, not sure it would have mattered though, pillar drop was brutal with Oriq
@belphegor1323 жыл бұрын
Doesn't work that way. priority passes to the player whose turn it is, so you get to copy the spell first. Even so, if you would bounce the eager first year, the rootha player would still be able to respond to your spell by using roothas ability.
@raholi9533 жыл бұрын
Rootha has to respond first to copy and if you fizzle the first spell the second copy never happens
@CoJoy3 жыл бұрын
@@raholi953 This only works with something like Tend the Pests, where the sacrifice is part of the cost, and so will fizzle the spell as the target is no longer valid. In the case of bouncing with Q Command, it has to resolve first to remove the target, so priority would still pass back to let Rootha copy.
