Passing Finale for Killian would have been a DISCIPLINED pick. I also think it would have been the wrong pick. What an absurd draft. certainly among the best decks I've seen this format.

I believe the correct way to play the Game 4 loss was to not attack your 2 drops into Pilgrim of the ages - it's a good trade for them, and especially bad for you with the Dramatic finale in hand (missing free creature). If instead you simply pass, your attacks go to neutral instead of bad, and I would consider even not attacking with the leech fanatic the next turn because then they are in a lose-lose scenario: Trade pilgrim for your 2 drop and give you a 3/2 flier, while STILL leaving you a 2/2 lifelink so they can't even race by going offensive (because you just attack back and gain life).

I think the finale pick was correct. The card is so messed up in an aggro deck, Killian is excellent, but it is replaceable

Oppo couldn't attack with all 3 in game 7 because Killian has menace. Pillardrop plus Killian would be lethal if they have only one blocker

It's really about reading end of pack one to determine the open lane. And early pack two to juggle the potentially powerful bomb vs what you discern as open. Then pack 3 you should reap the rewards of bombs if you guess correctly, since this is a guild format it's a lot easier to do. Your deck is always nuts if you are the only person in that guild.

Tap lands hurt if the primary goal is to curve out. Especially if running < 17 lands 1 is sometimes more than enough
