@@HTSontherun Range attacks which are absurdly easy to evade, especially with the speed Malenia has. Plus Malenia regenerates by hits, causes rot and has an even stronger second form. Her first phase would crush Pieta low difficulty. Lorewise it is even less of a competition. Malenia is a demigod.

My computer runs lotf high settings 96-130 fps but elden ring 60 fps lock goes down to 30 at boss fights weird how this happen when it looks like oblivion

Lords didn’t wow me like ER did, it’s generic dark fantasy, doesn’t help that the enemy variety is so painfully weak. All of Elden Rings areas have a distinct theme, they feel different. Enemy placements in ER adhere to lore. The enemies in the Haligtree for example all have a reason for why they’re there. Lords doesn’t, enemies are thrown at you without care. You’ll be fighting the same enemy you’ve been fighting since the beginning of the game at the very end. Like imagine you’re in the endgame of ER yet your fighting regular generic enemies except with insane amounts of HP. That’s Lords for you. Very disappointed with its enemy variety.

God, the sound design of Lords of the Fallen is awful, the footsteps sounds are annoying. The comparison here is not very fair, even though Elden Ring has better art direction. Just compare it to Demon's Souls from 2020 and see Lords of the Fallen take a good beating.

LOTF has superior graphics to Elden Ring, no question. Its built on unreal engine 5. But I would argue that Elden Ring has a much better artistic style. Elden Ring has more environmental variety with unique design. So far from my time playing LOTF, it is essentially the same environment throughout. I really like LOTF's environment, but it doesn't offer much variety. Elden Ring's environments make you want to explore because they are so beautiful and unique. LOTF is a more linear game, so its hard to compare to Elden Rings' open world design, but even still, LOTF doesn't offer the same desire to want to explore the world. The axiom/ umbral overlapping worlds is an interesting and innovative feature, but it still can't compete with Elden Ring's environments. Also, Elden Ring is better than LOTF at essentially everything else... especially combat. I'm not a huge fan of LOTF combat. It feels clunky and erratic. Your character moves fast but yet gets stuck in slow animations at times during combat. The camera doesn't do a good job capturing the correct angles with your character and enemies during combat. Dodging takes you like 8 feet away from your enemy, making it difficult to do quick counter-attacks. Elden Ring's combat has spoiled me. It is much smoother and more fluid than LOTF. From software has perfected its combat system over the years and its hard to play other soulslike games with clunky combat. I can't help but want to stop playing LOTF and start playing Elden Ring again. Elden Ring is just too good that these other soulslikes like LOTF are trying to catch up but can't really compete at this point

I don't think that's fair. Elden Ri g sacrifices smother animation transitions for a tighter gameplay and feel, while in Lords of thr Falles, your actions and following animations determing your characters movement more and for longer. Elden Ring controls way better, but both are different enough so it's not like one is truly better, for each game is design with combat encounter for those animations available.

Elden Ring is a graphics masterpiece. Its is more beautiful than any single person's imagination or dreams. Lord of the fallen can show detailed fire but thats where it ends. LOTF world is nowhere near 1/10 as good as Elden Ring. Elden Ring will be an example for generations how an AAA game should look like.

Why has any game enemies that act injured? Would be way more realistic and tactical interessant You bounce that huge sword and blood splash all over but the enemy act like it wasn't big deal just one second later. Never saw this in any game. Is it forbiden to make the enemy suffer much?

Yes, when adrenalin kicks in you don't feel much pain, maybe this an excuse to behave the same after being shot. Anyway, this npc acting like robots while being shot is getting really tiresome for a long time now.

So, i played & finished LoTF (only did 1 endeding so far) and i just got done playing Lies of P (yesterday) and now im FINALLY playing Elden Ring. So, far, this is my take.... I had to do A LOT of leveling up during the play (LoTF was the 1st souls like game ever) but although i had to do a lot of farming, & there were some glitches (new patches have fixed them now) it was a really great game. I was excited to play Lies of P and when i did, as there was some cool parts in it, as time went on, i got tired of playing the game. I just wanted that to end already smh when i finally beat Lies of P, i can tell you right now, i probably wont play that game again. So, now im FINALLY playing Elden ring (yeah im late to the party with that one lol). I picked the samurai as my starter, 1 thing i like about this Elden Ring, i can crouch & sneak up on people and kill them. In Lies of P & LoTF, you cant crouch & they both dont have the option to jump. Both Lies of P & LoTF, you basically have to run & jump. Theres no 1 button jump action. Also, when walking & running around In Elden Ring, i can tell its not as smooth as LoTF. But what i can say for both Elden Ring & LoTF, they both have GREAT replay value. Not so much for Lies of P.... js

Lord of the Fallen would be great, but the characters skate and unlike the first one the characters don't have any weight... It seems worse than its first incarnation in physicality and combat mechanics. In any case, it is beautiful to look at and artistically inspired, darker than elden ring but less deep.
