@@SimphiweNkande while that might have played a part ,I don't think it was the main reason He just got overshadowed by great batsmen (let's be honest,your average crowd enjoys batsmen more than bowlers ) .after graeme smiths 250 and that faboulous flintoff display. and he also didn't have the fame other overseas bowlers had(Akhtar ,lee,etc) That being said,I have no doubt race played a factor in him getting less spotlight

Does Ngidi get recognised at the same level? No, because he's not that good. Same with Ntini, Pollock and especially Donald were just better and as the new ball strike pair they naturally got more recognition. Same way Gillespie wasn't on the same level as McGrath and Warne. Lee and Akhtar exceptions because they were the fastest.
