Zelda Reorchestrated - Ganon Battle OoT Extended

The most epic final boss in my opinion. The battle was thrilling, even though it was a bit easy. The song helped the most, as well as the background in the game. Fucking lightning, fire, dark sky, it set the mood.

For me the same. I was so scared as a kid, fight without the master sword against this demon. It was my first Zelda and its my favorite for all time.

I never forgot the feeling I got when I was first hit and Zelda screams in shock. This game really played more like a movie at times.

It's a shame that the 3DS remake completely ruins the atmosphere and mood of the battle by removing all of the darkness. Just that change alone makes the N64 version superior.

@Administrator that's one way to make the Ganon fight harder and here's another 1. Give both phases of the final boss more diverse attacks New Ganondorf attacks: false orbs ( they work as a way to trick the player), lightning blasts ( a quick bolt of lightning blasted from Ganondorf's hands), fire snake ( a fiery apparition of a snake dashes around the edge of the arena and if you're caught you get knocked over with some fire damage), homing blasts ( this one is similar to the charged orb but this time each orb homes in on you one at a time and you can't deflect them at Ganondorf this time they just cancel out), dive punch ( similar to the ground pound he does at the beginning of the fight but this time he charges for you directly and the only way to avoid damage is to block it with a shield or to run out of the way but a shockwave will make that a little harder). New Ganon attacks: fire breath ( it's obvious what that does), spin attack ( he spins around with his blades pointing away from him so he's basically like a deadly top), jump attack ( he lunges at you trying to slam his blades into the ground to hit you), stomp ( Ganon stomps to produce a shockwave that is meant to knock you over) sword throw ( Ganon throws his sword like a boomerang )

@@Bornheck Yep, that boss is actually not hard, I do it multiple time without talking dommage... The things that hard in a 3 hearts challenges is to come to Ganon

One of the first fan orchestrations of Final battle. It’s genuinely awesome to hear what could’ve been over the past 2 decades. I still like to imagine what the game could’ve been overall with today’s technology…..lighthearted at first, just a kid trying to save a tree. All the way down to the depths of the well….the burnt and torn city of Hyrule…the death of friends from the past…..Hyrule’s demons in the shadow temple…lastly….Link and Ganon, Courage and Power….the Final Battle.

This version has some fantastic aspects compared to the original. The higher sample quality here combined with the snares and choir from the OST version and some amendment to overly loud start section would make for an incredible remaster that preserves the original vision.

in my opnion this is the greatest fight in game history this battle is extremely important to the zelda lore, also this version of ganon is the scariest enemy i have ever seen in a game he really looks like a demon here, i love how the music doesn't sound heroic but not evil too its just epic

Love this. One tiny feedback - the overall quality seems sorta bright, if that makes sense. Maybe giving the strings and opening brass a darker tone might keep them from sounding so...synth-y. And (IMHO, more importantly) giving all the percussion more tonal depth and bass would help. Might just be a personal preference thing, so take this as you like. Love this arrangement!

Yes, I'm pretty sure this is it, the version used in unreal engine 4, I've finally found it. I could've probably found it way sooner if my dumbass had just thought of looking up remixes for the final boss theme rather than just the unreal engine 4 music.

@@ShadowOfNexxus well I only died once on my first run with this boss but even then I was probably being an idiot. But the real problem is how the fight is way too simple and not too complicated now if you had to hit his tail several times to knock him down so you can strike his face to deal damage that would have been much more satisfying and epic. I also wish that Ganon could do every sword move you knew to make it that much more like that your fighting a force that is much more powerful than you and pressure you to take him down that much more

Overall, Ganon isn't a villain with much depth. Nor is he anywhere near most powerful. His fights are cool at least, except being easy. But TLoZ isn't hard in general.
