cory probably because the millenials do what they do and chit on games like they did with mass effect so nobody wants to play them. i'm just getting around to playing WC3 Reforged and for reference material is great. Had to stop half way through because its white noise havent got that far in game and prob why the millenials didnt want to watch it either too busy playing jrpg my little pony games.

Honestly, thank you. I find that any lore videos can be overbearing, but thru the use of visual aid (HS cards are a nice touch btw) that it’s more digestible and I can understand the main lore points from previous games/expansions. Keep it up!

This video is SO well made and it explains the events pretty well. My only gripe is the lack of emphasis on Uther’s death as he was betrayed by Arthas his pupil. Also Grom Hellscream’s death. Grom saved the entire orc portion of the Horde from being slaves to a demon and thus saved the world.

God but i freaking LOVED this story and characters as a kid. I couldn't get enough of them. Everyone was amazing, but I especially admired Arthas who actually started off as a sole character I hated for his annoying on-the-nose good-guyness, but very soon he became ruthless, shady, and I cheered. And I loved his sarcastic quips, especially as a Death Knight. God, did he look freaking cool as a Death Knight. But I was really sad when he became Lich King - in my eyes, he was devoured by Ner'Zul and lost his self. I also really liked Maev for being, frankly, comically insane, and Kael, who was the most sympathetic character in my opinion - I prefer to ignore whatever happened to him in WOW tbh

With all the expansions and being able to skip almost everything because of Chromie time, videos are so key for any new players who want to actually know the story behind what's going on when they hit BFA. Nice job with the videos! I passed through all 3 of them: pre-Warcraft 3 lore, Warcraft 3 lore and classic WoW lore. I only played Warcraft 3 (I did finished later Warcraft 2 just to get more lore but frankly I don't remember anything of it, it wasn't such poignant as Warcraft 3). I feel sorry that I missed playing WoW but then again content because all my student peers didn't had any much of a social life, they "lived" in WoW. I have no clue of WoW. Seeing all this so fast and well put together make me noticing some inconsistencies. Like why Lord Garithos imprisoned Kael'thas for siding with the nagas (corrupted high elves) but afterward he himself sides with Sylvanna (undead! corrupted night elf). It makes no sense. As many others. It looks like many of it was just simply written on the course of its development - for instance, the universe of the Elder Scrolls is much way better organized and fore-thought. But there is something to the Warcraft games, man, there's a glimmer of magic in them, I believe Warcraft 3 is one of the best games ever made. Maybe the inconsistency of the stories is what they attracts the fans, like the events are "shrouded in mystery" and we need to find out what truly happened.

Qrchimonde was an "summoned unit". Those recieve a lotta damage from wisps detonations. So much wisps detonating at the same time on he was kind of a big deal.

Arthas not only desecrated the Sunwell, but also messed up the remains of his father. Mind you, the late King was already powder when brought to the Sunwell, and the reanimation probably meant that Kel'thuzad won't exactly look like Terenas, but still.

One important point that you didn't include is that Illidan claiming the Skull of Gul'dan was vital to the Burning Legion's defeat, and he did so based on a hint from Arthas. This is an important point, because since Arthas is loyal to the Lich King it strongly suggests that the Lich King wanted the Legion to be defeated so that he could rule later.

Kael didn't really snitch on Maiev as he had no knowledge of her lie and he was just trying to be supportive to everyone. He likely assumed Maiev had just given up easily on Tyrande and he was probably curious about the relationship between those 2 brothers. He heard Malfurion sort of repeating the lie that Maiev told, but he never heard Maiev's lie himself. For all he knew, Maiev might have given Malfurion the exact same report that he would have, but Malfurion could have come to his own hasty conclusion about the matter. It wasn't until Malfurion interrupted him that he knew a lie had been told.

u've gotta do the story of what happens after frozen throne including that bonus campaign at the end of frozen throne if there isn't one. I don't know if u remember this, but I played through all warcraft 1,2,3 and frozen throne until blizzard throws its evil curve blade at its players. From being a single-player version it was turned into MMORPG that requires some sort of subscription/buying top-up cards that had to have an active internet connection. During that time not most countries had the net available to domestic users, so we had no choice than to leave the warcraft world. So much has happened since then, the story went far beyond. I just had a shock when I've learned very recently that the lich king aka death knight/prince Arthas has died.

if u want to play wow i think both and classic and retail are good. 2020 wow gets you caught up with the story fairly fast and classic doesnt really have a story- it's more of an experience. if u want a faster game that has more story driven content- play 2020 wow. if u want a slow burn atmospheric social and mechanical grind, play classic.

kinda love warcraft lore until wrath of the lich king. its really in core about individual beings in nature cant be satisfied or be in peace with their current status, and swayed towards path to damnation. while few reconcile mayhaps in contempt, they can overcome their own difficult circumstance, and working towards a struggle peace.
