Is the gagging at the very word Toreador really necessary? For a millennia’s old Methuselah the Narrator can sometimes act like a immature toddler. Also the Toreador Antediluvian is referred to as male in some texts, but also appears as female in other texts? Trans rights?

1. No, the gagging is not needed, but it was part of the characters disdain for the Toreador clan. That, and it made me laugh. 2. No one really knows the gender of any of the Antideluvian, as different books say different things. This isn't me being disrespectful.
