I dont think there is any song you can write today that will not resemble a couple of songs elsewhere in the World. This is a known fact. Even wordings will have a thousand resemblances when compared to other songs. Tattoo along with the words and the melody and the performance makes it a totally different song. I listened to the other songs and I will not even play them on rewind again simply because it is not my cup of tea. The winner takes it all is a lovely song but very different still. The same can be said for essays, novels, articles. If we were to compare each time if someone has written the same story then we will not get anything read, written or sung. As someone who writes songs myself I've written 3 songs in the last 5 years and I'd play them to family everyone would say it sounds good etc etc. But there'd be one friend who'd go, go song sound a lot like _______.
