After watching this video, subscribing and watching every other video on this channel, I can say with certainty: good job! While I like all your videos, the ones about the various regions of Golarion are my favorite - especially since the number of regions makes it hard to figure out which ones are the most interesting. You pretty much sold Ustalav to me :D
@hakimdaaloul98864 жыл бұрын
Man those guys had it rough but to be fair they did get 900 years of peace and progress so it was only a matter of time before the Pathfinder gods decided to screw them. I guess the Ustalavian ruler from that age rolled a natural 1 on his insight check, "should i be worried about this lich guy ?"-A forgotten Ustalav King

SOOOO glad you made this video! I'm getting ready to GM a home brew east march campaign that starts here in Caliphas and ends in Torch, Numeria! I just emailed this video to all my players! And great addition with the character concepts section! I'm sure the pathfinder newcomers in my game will find it helpful!

Character concepts is a good idea, I could imagine that a dungeon master starting with an AP or homebrew campaign in Ustalav might show this to his players first.
@VentureCaptains6 жыл бұрын
I pretty much got all of that section from an AP Player's guide, incidentally! It's supposed to be just that.

Character concept: Necromancer of the Whispering Way. Small idea but you secretly working towards subjugating Ustalav and with Galow Spire so close you do have allise near by, a lyxery not common in other regions

Damn fine video my friend. Love the character concepts, and got one myself to take full advantage of this hellhole’s horrors. Keeping my love for thrusting ordinary men into extraordinary circumstances, imagine a common dockworker from Rozenport. No special skills aside from a strong body, some talent with a knife and that lower class charm. The sort of man who just tries to keep his head down and not be butchered by unnatural horrors. His sister’s husband...wasn’t so lucky, and while the kid got out alive, saving him cost our dockworker his left eye. He set out be one of those heroic fools you mentioned, figured that Sincomakti had some magic tomes to start with. Well...his dreams pointed him toward this one terrible-looking thing. Looked like it was bound in skin, even looked like it had a slash in and...it looked like muscle and viscera in that cut. Krivbeknih, it was called. And it whispered to him. “Ia, Ia, Cthulhu fhtagn.” Oh yes....this thing had all the power he needed to punish the Whispering Way, the Vampires, Werewolves, Devil-worshipers, all of them. After all, in strange aeons, even death may die.

I like the new character segment going a little more in depth with it would be nice though. Maybe list some setting or theme appropriate archetypes or prestige classes.
@chibinya6 жыл бұрын
Man, I wish we could do this, but it would make the videos become very long, not to mention we avoid talking about rules stuff. We could have a list of archetypes in the description or something tho. Alternatively you can ask for more videos like the Fighter one that does go into detail.
@ashryoho6 жыл бұрын
@@chibinya I see the stipulation interfering with that yeah. More videos on classes would be nice though. Anything that gets more pathfinder content out there. I recommend druids or barbarians, the latter may be a challenge seeing as its mostly limited to the mammoth lands and the surrounding country.

Interesting I jsut enjoy an audio book about set in usalave but I still kind of dislike the kitchensink desinge of Galorion since Ustalve as nice as it is feels like a lesser ravenloft stichted into the world
