On the Middle Rhine, in Germany there is a rock known as Lorelei. For more than a thousand years, records show an uncanny number of ships have struck it and sunk. Legends say that a siren sits on the rock and seduces navigators with her song, luring them to their deaths. The song "Lorelei" by the Pogues depicts this myth, if you're interested.

Sorry I’m late gang but it started out with just me and my mom, and we were swimming through floating blocks of water. With each level passed we would gain a new member of the party, and that’s how I got my team!!! Then Lorelai taught me the truth that my mom died and I would too so we went to a vampire bar where there were barrels full of humans that they would just put a straw in when they needed a drink and the vampire man there (who was apparently an old friend of mine) said if I rescued his lost golden retriever I would be paid 13 cents, so me and my gang got on the hovercraft from lilo and stitch but it broke down so we walked down a long bridge above the sea at sunset, rescued the dog, then went to his mansion and returned it to him then had a party. Barbara left on the hovercraft to work at border patrol though. Then I was sent to a city underwater and went to the back rooms of sea world with Lorelai and contracted a disease from the mold and slowly died as I chased an evil person who was just now mentioned?? I was planning how to catch him with Lorelai when she went max level insane and died. Then i chased the evil guy some more before the disease really kicked in and I just fell down was paralyzed right there and I think nikto and gingerbread man were playing card games outside waiting for me and Lorelai

And then you also notice her hands are covered in bandages. I don't know if it was a voiceline or is it in her story / items but it hints that she kinda does SH unconsciously due to her hallucinations and stuff, which is why she wears her straitjacket when she's about to have an episode.

It honestly proves she’s a siren cause if you notice the last voice line in this video, many people jumped off and drowned (dyed the color red). Unfortunately she doesn’t know I think and is just some philosophical good little girl.

If you bother reading all the backgrounds of all of the characters, since you get everyone to Bond 100 eventually, you will see the game is very consistent about this. Almost all of them have super sad backstories, and all of them have complexes or hang-ups. Vertin melted all of her childhood friends, except for the one that refused to go, who then became obsessive over her, and one of the kids that didn't like Vertin now hates her because her waifu is thirsty over Vertin. A doctor cured his childhood lover or an incurable disease, presumably by transferring to himself, and then became a crazy scarecrow. An arcanist who dreamed of being a movie star, doomed to be an underpaid extra or stunt-double. A vampire that wishes that she could die. Read them, every last one, regardless of rarity. Do all of the Anecdotes. This game was written so beautifully, even if it is just a vehicle to make money. It all deserves to be read.
