@@michelleiturralde998 @Michelle Iturralde I am referring to whomever wrote the "Narrator's" script regarding this case, not the case itself. NBC has more than enough money to hire a decent writer/reporter rather than some imbecile attempting to be clever. "Lorenz is no King of the city but a prince"??!! The only ppl trashing Loren'z name is NBC narrator/writer who wrote this copy!

@@Mia-qt4th I get it & I was actually referring to both .....the narrator (or writter, wrote it for this narrator) said it in this video, as well the real case. You are absolutely correct though! The king/prince thing was pretty disrespectful & poorly written.😉☹️

I think it has more to do with their training. They are trained to stay calm and unreactive in the face of alot of what could be dramatic events. I actually think its quite noble that even though they're human and the call could potentially make them emotionally reactive, they try their best to stay calm and extract as much information as possible to help the caller as much as possible.
@therellnevab
@therellnevab 4 жыл бұрын
@@mariceladaini9304 i get that but however there's a difference between being calm and not overreacting and being annoyed as if you dont want to be bothered! Tone is everything when speaking with someone in distress and to have a 911 dispatcher coming off annoyed because you're calling for help just makes matters worse! If you are not able to do your job find other work.

One thing that drives me nuts when I see live courtrooms is the court reporter typing away taking down all the words of each participant. The reason it irks me is that in this day and age with video so cheap (and not prone to mistakes) that the courts continue to utilize fallible humans to record the proceedings. One reason is because the court reporter's (about $160K/year) have a strong union. We could have two video cameras recording everything for a fraction of the cost....one hard-wired and one on battery back up. Between federal, state and municipal venues these court reporters cost us, the taxpayer, billions of dollars a year. Plus, if you've ever tried to get a copy of the minutes of a court proceeding from the stenographer you'll know it's like pulling teeth. You hafta kiss their butt to get it and then they charge you an arm and a leg. Wake up, America.

Well that separates the true friends from the users. You are better off. Make new friends, Those people never had your back. Their actions prove that. I'm so sorry that you had to close your car lot. Bless your heart! I grew up in the 1960's at my grandparents Esso service station. (It's Exxon now) They had a car lot and the service station open for ten years, in southwest Va. We went to the car auction in Bristol, Tn. every thursday, to buy cars. I'm still in southwest Va. After I-81 Interstate was built in the 1960's. They had to close in the late 1960's because most of our customers bypassed our service station, on the interstate. They got gas in town. We were ten miles north of town. It was strange to go from covered up to no business. We were open 6 am to 12 midnight. Monday through Saturday. We stayed open about another seven months, with hardly any business. But the interstate killed our business. All that was left was my uncles Miller beer distribution business. He had two warehouses in different towns. Everything is gone now. My grandparents and my five uncles and my parents have passed away. My grandfather in 1989... I really truly empathize with you. Car lots are a lot of fun. You meet lots of interesting people. When I think back on all those days. It seems so sad and surreal, because they are gone, but not forgotten. I still miss that station and car lot.

Gunshots don't equal shooting. Could be someone just shooting a gun in the air. I used to work for a 911 center, gunshots can be anything. A person could be at a shooting range or firing in their backyard and butt dial 911. Unless you hear something that indicates an assault it's just gunshots.

@@kaylamae.6328 as I said before, gunshots don't equal shooting. Could just be some clown firing. If someone was screaming or something else then send a cop out. People would shoot all the time and if cops don't know who's out there, how many, where are they, or the situation, then they're going in blind. If that's the case and cops kill someone or something happens, they'll blame the dispatcher like they did in the Tamir Rice situation and the dispatcher goes to the clink.

That's like asking someone like you to not be a bully, it's not going to happen. The people on the phone are not going to just suddenly start talking. There's situations where a person calls 911 and can't speak because they are hiding in a closet & trying to be quiet from the bad guy. Back in the day if you called 911 from a landline the police would show up at the traced address whether someone spoke or not. You need to go away, I didn't ask you your snotty opinion.

TiffyLove Love Sadly though, the narcissistic criminal believes him or herself to be the "smartest person in the room", believing in their own ability to commit the perfect crime even if unplanned, going on to then believe that, if questioned, they could easily talk their way out of it. Of course, not all criminals are narcissists, but there does seem to have been a lot of murderers who also happened to have been narcissistic by nature. However, I do agree with you myself. In this day and age, and with the technological advances in evidence collection and processing, behavioral analysis techniques and the constant monitoring in our societies via cctv, cell phones and even Google Earth, it is unbelievable that anyone would still believe themselves to be so good as to avoid detection and, subsequently, punishment by law.

I was reading an article about love and in the article sex was mentioned as a “bonding activity”. You literally leave your DNA in another human being when you have sex with them. That bonding/ intimacy is intense. I 100% understand her emotions. She didn’t marry him with the intent to kill him for money, but he changed. He didn’t deserve to die for cheating and I’m not happy about it but playing with people’s emotions have consequences. Don’t cheat. Again, I don’t think that justifies her behavior.

Her cousin is the one that tipped the police off about the gun after he himself was facing charges for the murder of his girlfriend. He made a deal with them to receive leniency for his crime. The cousin claims Sherra asked for him to carry out the plan initially but he declined, however I believe he was present with them at the time, for he knew exactly where the weapon was disposed. This family is bad to the bone.
