Eleanor Plunkett is a popular, traditional Irish tune composed in the eighteenth century by Tarlach O'Carolan, blind Irish harper, composer, and singer. The piece is dedicated to Eleanor Plunkett of Robertstown, one of the thirty members of her family. The story tells that they were all trapped in their castle and killed with boiling water. The arrangement for classical guitar aims to imitate the sound of the harp and tries to sing its charming, poignant, and dreamy melody and recreate its magic
Guitar arrangement based on a version by phenomenal guitarist Franco Morone.
