President Nelson has invited everyone to repent and get involved in the gathering of Israel. He also has stated that without the Book of Mormon there would not be a gathering of Israel. The Book of Mormon shares a pattern again and again that teaches that seeing the face of our Savior is doable. Not long ago saints were taught to seek their calling and election. Study this topic and look for the patterns within the Book of Mormon. President Nelson has shared truth that has the power to save if we but listen and believe and move forward in faith and do as we have been taught in scripture.

I’ll let you in on a little secret! It does at first feel impossible for everyone, but the only thing that makes it doable is the Savior. The more you focus on Him each day, the more He will be with you. When you pray each day to have certain feelings removed, He will grant that request. When you pray for the desire to be good and do good, even if you don’t feel it at the moment, He will bless you with that desire. The Savior makes it all possible; without Him, it is impossible. Join us, those who struggle like you, on the path to joy and salvation. You'll find many kind people as you make the decision to move forward in faith. God loves you!

That's where faith comes in. And not in the way you think. We often think faith to quit means "if I had enough faith, I'd be cured of my addiction already." And it doesn't always or even usually work that way. We battle through addiction so we don't go back to it. It's a slow process of changing. Consistent daily effort. And it may take you years to build up the strength to resist. If you die tomorrow but you're giving it your 100% best, that's faith in christ, repentance, and enduring to the end right there. Don't think working slowly through an addiction means your fate is dicy. Now, obviously, do what you need to to stop slipping. For pornography addicts, it does require talking to someone if you can't do it cold turkey. You may need to change your daily habits to avoid falling into the circumstances that lead to temptation. For other addictions to substances, you may need to enroll in addiction recovery programs. Try outpatient. Hopefully, that helps. If it doesn't you may need to put in the effort to get into an inpatient program. Now all that is assuming you're single. It's much harder when your family is counting on you. Talk to your bishop, talk to the Lord, make a plan with them and act on it. Even if you fail, trying and failing isn't the problem, quitting is. You can do this. Again, have faith that your consistent effort will pay off and it will eventually. Stay motivated, don't let satan make you lazy by miscommunicating the Lord's grace. You can do this. God made his children to achieve lasting joy. He did not put you here to abandon you. ❤️ Pray, he is there. Speak, he is listening.

After baptism into the church of JEsus Christ one is confirmed a member by the lanying on of hands and the Elder tells that person to receive the Holy Ghost. To a member the Holy Ghost will witness unto that person Jesus is the Savior and the Son of God

Too sacred/personal to share with a wider audience? Makes me wonder because there are other manifestation stories of angels, etc. from inside temples, especially Kirtland.

It’s my opinion, and my opinion only, that the location in the temple is likely significant in the answer you seek. Sorry, but I will say no more and invite you to ask the Lord in prayer. As for other visions, especially in Kirtland, I would like to invite you to get the book *The Savior in Kirtland* by Karl Ricks Anderson. I have read it a couple of times now because it contains experiences I’ve never come across anywhere else about the time, people, and situations they faced in building the Kirtland Temple, as well as the heavenly visitations that took place. The book is extremely well-documented with many citations available for the claims made. It's worth noting that Joseph Smith, the founder of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, made significant efforts towards equality. He ordained a Black man, Elijah Abel, to the priesthood and actively sought to address the issue of slavery. Joseph Smith even ran for President of the United States in part to advocate for the abolition of slavery. These actions reflect his commitment to principles of equality and justice. Unfortunately, Joseph Smith’s efforts were met with severe opposition. He faced violence and persecution, which ultimately led to his martyrdom by a mob. Following his death, the early members of the Church endured significant hardship, including a termination order against them from the state’s governor. They were forced to flee and endure great trials. It was a time of intense struggle, and societal acceptance of racial equality was not yet widespread. The Church's stance on priesthood ordination for Black members remained restricted until societal attitudes shifted and the Church grew stronger. In 1978, under the guidance of President Spencer W. Kimball, the restriction was lifted, and a revelation declared that all worthy men, regardless of race, could hold the priesthood. This change was significant and was made in accordance with divine guidance. It’s important to recognize that resistance to this change existed within the Church, as it did in society at large, but it was eventually embraced as part of the ongoing process of revelation and growth. This is almost certainly made up. Was never recorded by him and was only recorded decades after he was dead by someone that wasn't even there. Supposedly he told others about it, however they were also dead by the time it was recorded.

By the mouth of two or three witnesses shall every word be established. We have twelve special witnesses, Apostles, who are supposed to testify of the truth. They meet regularly with the 1st Presidency, three others who never said a word publicly. Why don't we have any accounts from these people regarding this event? Too sacred or made up?

This doesn't seem to be a revelation where two or three witnesses be needed. This was relevation for just president snow. It wasn't a message for anyone but him. he just wanted to share it with his granddaughter because he was close to her. if Pres. Snow lied, or be it his granddaughter, doesn't matter too much, IMHO.

I've heard them each, many, many times in my life bear their "special and sure witness" of the "reality" of Jesus Christ. It would seem, that although they do not provide great detail of their own sacred experiences, they are asserting, repeatedly, the same thing.
