The Book of Revelation 9 seems to suggest that before the opening of the final seal, it will get very, very bad. Verse 18 says that 1/3 of men will be killed by the fire, smoke and brimstone coming out of the mouths of 200,000 horsemen (tanks? artillery?). Whatever it is, it sure won't be good. The Soviet Union is no more, but Russia could easily be seen as it's child.

I have received a witness by the Holy Spirit time and time again of the truthfulness of the Book of Mormon. I love hearing the words of Christ in that book. The prophets also truly do testify of Christ and how much he wants each of his children to repent and return to him. It is important for true joy in our lives to believe in him, be baptized and follow him by making and keeping covenants, recognize him as our Savior and redeemer . How blessed we are to have his beautiful gift of the atonement of Jesus Christ for each of us.

The anti-mormon literature of the 90s that the brethren so vehemently preached were lies are now on the official church website and are called the "essays". Unfortunately the teachings of this church easily lead to extremist views (look no further than Jodi Hildebrand and Ruby Frankie). Also... look no further than channels that post content like this. Members anxiously waiting the destruction of their "enemies". Too bad they didn't make an effort to get to know their "enemies". Maybe they would have realized that they weren't enemies after all but instead good moral people trying their best to have happy families and live moral lives. The "us vs them" mentality of this organization needs to stop. Guess what?! People can actually live wholesome moral lives without a prophet or leader telling them how to.

Okay world in general and those who oppose the Church specially; Take this testimony and put it to the test. Remember that at the last judgment, not only will you Nephi, Mormon, and Moroni, but also Elder Holland of the truth of the Book of Mormon (2 Nephi 33: 15). His testimony humbles me with its fervor and sincerity. As he said in the end of his talk, '... if you do not believe these words, believe in Christ, and if you do believe in Christ, you will believe these word for they testify of Christ' (2 Nephi 33:10-11)

When Elder Holland said that these men would never give up their lives for a book 📕 unless it was true….it was profound. He is so right.

Hi this is Tom, do not underestimate the power of Russia! The Bood of Revelation talks about the little horn, the little horn is Russia! Little horn means a short time or period. USSR went down and Russia rose up. Russia compared to the rest of the world has the shortest time period. Little horn is a powerful war machine. And President Biden is poking the BEAR!! Any good historian who is also grounded in reverence of all scripture would remind us that visions and even revelations about future destruction have as their main purpose an alert for us individually to be prepared.....not for destruction, but for choosing the build internal strengths that provide a pathway to do what is right and best regardless of devastation and panic and evil in the world. After all, mortality is a teaching opportunity for our next phase of life. Consequently, a video like this should be viewed only as a personal encouragement to listen carefully to our prophets day by day and follow their discernment as they reflect on past, present and future revelations. Avoid panic and desperation. We have lots of history to help point out ways to "survive peacefully".

Such simple clarity and directness of nessage . Truly a master of his Prophetic calling, under the tutoring spirit of God !

Geez, I had forgotten idea how bluntly and boldly Pres. Eyring spoke back then. He is still speaking with clarity today, but he certainly did not hold anything back in this address.

To all the comments pointing fingers, stop, look in the mirror and fix yourself. Laman and Lemuel did the finger pointing when they were wrong. We are all wounded and pained. That is why we need Christ’s Atonement. This talk was not a calling out, but a call to awake and fear not. Fear not that what you say will contradict the Will of the Father, fear not that what you say will not manifest how you believe it will, bless others and fear not the consequences. We are endowed with power brothers, use it without fear, for if you do not exercise, you atrophy. It will be voided if you are unrighteous yes, however “unworthy” does not mean unrighteous. We are all unworthy, if it were not so, what need have we of Christ?
