i am assuming that Luri people have Kurdish origin , My ancestors have been deported by Sha Abas in 1604 from Armenia. i am looking for the evidence about that period . I hared about Lori people living next to my ancestors having ever problems with them such as Lori khons with their men attacking Armenian Cristian villages in so called Peria region. i was wondering if any of you guys know about that area called Peria ? These are Kurds not Lors.. specifically Laki Kurds, Lors are Bakhtiaris, Kuh Giluyehis, Boyer Ahmads and Mamasanis. Even though these Lori groups are seperate they are actually almost come from Laks. There are many groups of Kurds like Kurmanj, Soran, Goran, Lak, Fayli, Zaza.

I am Lak, and I've studied a lot of Lak history. We are not Lur. If anything.... Lurs are Lak. Laks are historically older than Lurs. We are the origins of the Kurdish diaspora. In fact, all of Kermanshah was once Lakestan. The Lurs of Bakhtiyari and Kuychek are a mix of Laks with a different ethnic group. Laks are genetically closer to all the other Kurdish groups than to any Bakhtiyari Lur or Kuychek Lur. I can send you this article if you wish to see it, it was published out of Lorestan University.

@Lur Zagrosneshin The only reason I am semi-aware of Zurvanism, the inscription I typed out, and the Kalmakara Cave (a very important site for Mithraism in the Zagros mountains) is because the sword I bought that I commented here about is from that cave.. Very interesting... I for one believe Mithraism is not dead. The last Hellenic (Pagan) Emperor of Rome, Flavius Claudius Julianus, was a Mithraist.. He wanted to incorporate Mithraism into a new religion centered on Hades, Zeus~Jupiter & Helios~Sol Invictus... Mithras and the other Demigods & Heroes associated as well... I am young, only 22, but I am learning information I feel is destined for something important... "Developing the message" as it were.. Lorestan is home to the Lurs. Many kurds in the comment section are trying to claim that the people in Lorestan are mainly Kurds. (I even saw they were claming that the Zands were Kurds.) But dont get this wrong that the people in Lorestan are mainly Lurs Because as some comments pointed it out, they hace Laks and Kurds among them. These tribes get along with each other very well and count themselves as brothers. But its really sad to see the Kurds are trying to make history and claim things that is not theirs

I have a question about Lorestani culture, and specifically Lorestani women. My great grandmother was from Borujerd, Lorestan. She had tattoos on her face, specifically the mouth area, the tattoos were dot like and blue green colored. I haven't been able to find much about anyone knowing tattoos among the Lors. @K _ S بنده سکن لرستان نیستم برای همین زیاد اطلاعی ندارم از مناطق مختلفش ولی هر سال مدت زیادی خرم آباد ساکن هستم و توی فامیل هامون هم لک هستن ، ما بین خودمون به هم دیگه با زبون اشاره میکنیم ،یعنی کسی که لکی صحبت میکنه میگیم لک و به کسانی که لری صحبت میکنن میگیم لر، میدونم که خیلیاشون خودشون رو لر میدونن، یک سری تجزیه طلب که همه جا هستن ولی از وقتی که دیدم روسری گلونی فقط به اسم قوم لک ثبت شده این پیامدها بیشتر شده، من واقعا مدرکی پیدا نکردم که متعلق به کجاست تا جایی هم که میدونم تمام مردم زاگرس استفاده میکردن ، کردها هم یکسری ها مخصوصا خارج از کشور کل لرها رو هم به اسم کرد زدن، واقعا لرها و لک ها جزو زبانشون تفاوتی ندارن،من نمیدونم ریششون ممکنه از کجا بوده باشه چه لر چه لک، ولی هر دو ایرانی هستن و در صلح با همن، منظورم اینه که خیلی راحت با هم وصلت میکنن و رفت و آمد دارن در صورتی که مثلا کرد ها با اینکه اون ها هم خیلی به ما نزدیکن ولی اینقدر راحت نمیشه معاشرت کرد، حرف شما هم راجب یکسری بچه که اینترنت دستشون گرفتن کاملا درسته، زبان لکی برای نوشتن راحت تر بود نسبت به لری و شعرهای زیادی هم باقی مونده به صورت کتبی

Real Lurs are from Boyer Ahmad, Mamasani (southern lurs). I'm from Mamasani myself originally. Laki is a Kurdish, not Luri

Kurds are four groups in Sharafnamah : Kurmanj, Goran, Kelhur, Lur. Before 9-10 centuries ago two new Kurdish dialects were created : Sorani and Laki. Sorani is combination between Gorani and Kurmanji. Laki is also a combination between Kalhuri and Gorani. Sorani, Kelhuri, and Laki are almost the same. True there are differences between (Sorani, Laki, Kelhuri) and other Luri dialects (Mamasani, Boyer Ahmad), but it doesn't mean you are not Kurdish

I not making those staff, there are people; professors,historians archaeologist they’ve find a lot evidence and proof that luri people are considering Kurds… also Kurds are not northern iranian, Kurds has nothing to do whit Persian people.
