A true country lady and legend!! No one today can even come close!!
@michaelfarmer9472 Жыл бұрын
She made the word "pounds" 2 syllables. Also, "You cool it back thar!" Gotta love that accent! She was born country and stayed country her entire life...even after sh made millions and millions of dollars, she stayed humble and acknowledged God had Blessed her, and her fans (she called friends) were the reason she was as successful as she was. When fans started coming to Hurricane Mills to gawk at her house and try to catch a glimpse of her, she didn't barricade the property with brick walls and dense greenery...she built them a campground and shared her ranch with them. When she was out working on the ranch and a fan would holler at her, she'd holler back...often taking a few minutes to talk with them. Mooney would often drive the tractor down to meet and greet people arriving on tour buses. They both aalways kept it REAL 100.

I love this song! Because i think that she tells it like it is and is willing to fight for the man that she loves and no woman is going to stand in her way or take him from her even if it means getting into a brawl she would be willing to take that chance.Great singer,great lyrics,and a good person.

I'd have to agree with you. I would say that Patsy had the best voice for any genre, but Loretta is the greatest preformer.

the guy WASNT being rude. He was yelling out "Ones on the Way" a song of her's. If you ever been to a Loretta Lynn concert people yell request all the time. Loretta with her quick whit came up with the line that she gaind 5 lbs. Which is funny! But the guy wasnt being rude he just wanted her to sing ones on the way.

In the movie Coal Miner's daughter, Loretta (played by Sissy Spacek) at one point forgets her words: does anyone have that "video" (the real one, not the movie one) or is it on here already, and if so, under what title. Thank you!
