I meet jeff emig o at Perris in 2006. My truck was parked next to his. He was so cool, nice and friendly, but man does he talk alot haha. He is a perfect commentator for this reason.

I think at the very least *MX* should allow the *250 2-Strokes* to race against the *250 4-Strokes.* Would benefit the racing because your race them differently would benefit the smaller teams & especially privateers because a *2-Stroke* is cheaper especially to race & maintain, it would benefit *2-Stroke* fans

Yep 100% and leave the 300's for the 450s.

Great interview, fro is so cool and knowledgeable. Been a big fan of his since I started racing back in the 80s at some of the same tracks he raced on. Never forget the year he won the 250 title, he raced troy Ohio when it was 100 degrees with the full black outfit and smoked them, bad ass!

He is a good bloke. I've only had a chats/messages back and forth on Insta, but seems genuine.

Im a guy from the 90’s and still competing on a 125cc, Always brings same results in Open class, Usable power is so important, I see so many people struggling trying to ride a 450, You see young guys on 85cc passing them like nothing. Who remember Steve Lamson winning the Desnations on a 125 between all 500cc with best riders of the world, Jeff Emig did same on Lorettas on 2021, Stewart vs Reed, Neil Bradshaw entering all races in Europe doing same thing, And lot of others.

I venture to guess that Jeff is riding a KTM 300SX at Loretta's this year.

$1000 for entry at a Amateur Event? Probably 2 classes however that's crazy. 1987 entry fee per class was $35.

I’m excited to be racing the 40+ class with fro this year at Loretta’s. Good dude.
