A CLASS ACT ! I was fortunate to have met her in the late 60's. ELEGANCE is what struck me first. She never responded to me as a nobody. She was always so kind and cordial. Loved that I had the chance to meet one of my favorites and she didn't disappoint !

The old Hollywood stars are so classy about former colleagues, and do not kiss n tell nasty gossip as so often happens today. She surely has her share of awful things which happen in any career BUT she stayed grateful, kind and never revealed confidences as so many wanted her to do. What a LADY.

In 1952 my Dad bought us a big Blonde Art Deco RCA T.V. with Double Doors, and with a gorgeous Blonde Elongated pull that came to a Pyramid. That was the pull to open the front. It was also designed by Technicolor Color Director NATALIE KALMUS ! And on the front of that gorgeous T.V. set was her signature in her own script writing in gold, it was on the gold mesh fabric that covered where the sound came through on the lower right, when you are looking at it from the front. So I guess it would have been on the left side of the T.V. and that's not all. That big gorgeous blonde beauty also had a built in planter on either side of that T.V. It also had White Porcelain Containers trimmed with gold to fit where the planters were supposed to go. We always had them filled with Philadendrons, which always looked very nice. Everybody exclaimed about that T.V. I wish we still had it, and I wonder where it's at today? We had to buy another T.V. because the T.V. tube eventually burned out, and we couldn't find one or get one for it. Total bummer about that! It was a totally unique, and a one of a kind T.V. I have never ever seen another one like it !!

Came here after watching her movie The Hatchet Man (1932) in which she starred alongside Edward G. Robinson. It is rare to see someone who acted in 1930s to deliver a speech in a healthy condition that too in 1997, amazing. She looks in her 50s in this video, wow. Most of the actors she mentioned had died already I guess. And its sad that she would die 3 years after this interview as she looked healthy over here could have lived for 10 years or more. Nevertheless, one of the most beautiful woman ever in Hollywood.

Amazing Actress from the Golden Age of Hollywood. She spent her last years visiting patients at the Desert Hospital in Palm Springs each week on a daily basis. She visited the patients and then went to the Hospital Chapel (which is now named for her) and would say the Rosary and on occasion if a Priest was available, would celebrate MASS. She primarily attended St. Louis Catholic Church in Cathedral City which is next door to Palm Springs.

I can't believe Loretta completely avoided the "who was the best kisser?" question. She had long and passionate affairs with both Spencer Tracy and Clark Gable (who was the father of her daughter, Judy). She loved them both, I wish she would have answered.
