JJ geckos you are right. I’m am studying herpetology in university and the water should be on The opposite side of The tank so that the frog can thermoregulate. If Frog wants to be in a warm moist environment if you go on the side with the heat pad.

If they don't move much why not just make that it's permanent cage no matter how big it gets it's barely going to move from where it's sitting to the water bowl from the water bowl back to where it's sitting they don't need anything bigger than that I have a pacman frog in a 10 gallon he only uses I would say 30% of that tank he never moves to the other side of the tank so I decided to put dividers and put another Pacman frog on the other side

Little tip: you shouldn’t have a water dish in the terrarium the EcoEarth should be moist enough to where they can soak up water out of it. So if you notice Lemon is constantly in the water dish that means the EcoEarth is to dry and you should spray it down.

Just found out my local pet store sells pac man frogs with a traveling tank (not for permanent home) for only 30 dollars! Now all I need to do is get a 20 gallon for my crabs and use their former 10 gallon for the pac man frog.

ms151912 great question!!!! Maybe I can help :) Pacmans are what I believe to be a specific taste pet, if you have a love of frogs and don’t kind caring for something you can’t hold them YES! If you don’t mind having to keep & clean up after crickets & worms and buy them weekly ( crickets have to be fed and removed daily) then yes they are great! They don’t move or do anything so if you want something to hold I wouldn’t get one, and the crickets are a lot of work they are like a new pet on their own Bc you have to remove the dead ones daily & feed them daily too. Lol I love my Pacman tho and I don’t regret her at all but I wanted her for months and did lots of thinking about it :)

Personally, as a person who likes to have pets but dont have alot of time to take care of them, Pacman frogs are my favourites! They're very chill and awesome looking. Also, i have alot of worms in our backyard so these babies are great pets to reduce wormies! But worms are kinda good so yea haha.. btw im a first year highschool and in school for almost 10 hours! My pacman's name is kiko and he's 1 month old!

Just a heads up that pac man frogs should never really soak, the substrate should almost be moist enough. They say if they soak, the substrate needs to be more moist!

I wonder why the setup is so different in Taiwan. I'm an American but I was given a pacman frog from a teacher who bought it for a short time and didn't want it after that. I've had him or her for about 2 years.He's pretty much the same size but his skin does shed. He enjoys his frog pellets and he seems to enjoy his enclosure. However the way I was told to is enclosure is completely different. I think what I'm going to do is buy a turtle. What's a very large aquarium that has a light. And I'm going to buy some aquarium soil. They also did not tell me that I need to use the chlorinated water. Maybe the space will encourage him grow. I normally research critters before I purchase them but since he was given to me I assumed the pet store is the enclosure the right way
