I started thrift gifts about three years ago - because of you! I do it for my entire family- siblings, parents, nieces and nephews and my own kids and hubby. It is usually 1-3 items. The first year I had them open any gift and they had to guess who it was actually for. It was so fun! This year they have to figure out theirs by the thrifted ornament on the ribbon.

Yes, we do thrifted Christmas bags every year! I start collecting things during yard sale season for my 4 young adult kids, they love it, one of my kids says it’s their favorite part of Christmas!

This was my first year thrifting for Christmas and I had so much fun. Wish I had thought to do it earlier in the year- but next year I'm TOTALLY doing the large bags under the tree! This year I made most of the gifts using what I already had, and thrifted in between. I wish we had more places to shop (goodwill, a small shop in town, and a Salvation Army) but with twelve months to shop, I'm guaranteed to find everyone something :) thank you for the idea! One of my favorite memories of Christmas long ago (30 years ago) was a Batman tent I thrifted at Goodwill for my son! He was so excited and it cost me $2!! I have always thrifted presents for my whole family! The only way i could afford Christmas when my kids were younger! Merry Christmas!

Unfortunately this year I lost My brother from complications of a heart transplant. I watch you every day. I always do a thrift box for my daughter for Christmas - she loves it! This year I made outfits instead of just random pieces and I can't wait for her to try them on. I usually give it to her early so she can go through and try on. And any pieces that don't fit or aren't her esthetic I resell!

You thrifted some really incredible finds for your kids. I know they will be thrilled! My daughter is happy to give & receive thrifted gifts, but so far my son has not gotten on board. He is very picky about clothes and really annoying. I buy thrifted clothes for his kids all the time & he doesn't really like that, but luckily their mother is on board with it. I found my daughter a really nice Quince sweater NWT -- SO soft!

I know this may sound weird but could you do a Temu haul and compare the quality with similar items or do an assessment of the Temu items? I know its Chinese goods, but some name brand items are also made in China. You can thrift the items after the assessment if you don't like something from Temu! A win win!!

I think you should just sell the Madewell. A long tank underneath will alter the look and and chop up the line of your body. Whenever i try to "alter" a piece of clothing that i just dont gravitate to, i end up not wearing it.
