My cousin Fabian and I used to play this track back in the day at home and at parties when we played out. South London nights rocked to this big bigger and one of the best reggae instrumentals. The original by Grover Washington was actually called Loran’s Dance not Lorna’s Dance. Also covered by Idris Muhammad, whose version was slightly sampled by the Beastie Boys, wow, go get ‘em Boys.

If I could get down on my knees and pray for a phrase to describe this tune it would definitely be, “Totally Awesomeness.” Consider yourself sampled Sir.

@@guitarsolos89 Are you sure ?? Idris Muhammad release Power of Soul in 1974 but Grover W. Jr. release Reed Seed in 1978 so I think the original is from Idris Muhammad
