The riff is focusing on the bottom string and lower down on the fret board which is why it’s not as noticeable in the mix for this one compared to a lot of Adam’s writing sitting around the 12-17 fret range during verse riffs recently. It’s about 20 minutes all up for the three

Just out of curiosity, you mentioned other deathcore bands/songs having better mixes. What were you referring to?

Yeah, so I think bands like Distant, Humanity's Last Breath and Fit For An Autopsy. I just find their mixes to have more balance overall, with the high end being more controlled and the drums not being so overpowering in the mix. I love the writing that Lorna Shore always bring to the table, but I feel sometimes that the guitars are getting overshadowed by the drum kit and even the vocals getting lost sometimes, but at the end of the day ti is my personal preference. I hope this clarifies my thoughts a bit better

@@MetalRoast This is exactly what i thought when i first heard, and still think when listening to To The Hellfire. The majority of the time the drums are a bit too overpowering except in obvious parts like the guitar solo or the nasty *ss breakdown.

@@MetalRoast Absolutely, it wasn't an attack by any means. Thank you for the reply, I myself am more accustomed to less "boomy" productions; the first time I heard To the Hellfire's snare I was a little shook lol
