Wondered how they manage to keep topping themselves but then remembered: where there’s Will, there’s a way.

yes! But for the love of god, give some credit to the rest of the band also! I like all Will's previous bands, but he sounds way better in lorna shore.. and thats also largely because of the band and their instruments!

The 3 part trilogy in the pain remains album.. shows the 3 stages of grief. Hitting you with each different emotions with each song.
@drakafer69592 жыл бұрын
We just witnessed sadness or/and denial, which I'm gonna take a guess and say that prt.2 would be focused on anger. Then which I would hope the 3rd will be acceptance. Which will be focused on healing and actually coming back to reality. They would have a huge opportunity, to throw some cleans in. If I'm accurate at all.

The sudden stop probably has two reasons. First reason obviously being to streamline into the next part, but more importantly the 2nd reason being to symbolize how death just comes in a blink of an eye. Super sudden whether expected or unexpected.

My prediction: Johnny will cry (almost a given) and play air guitar during the solo. Nath isn't wearing his crystal lake long sleeve, so he probably won't cry, but would be great if he did, but will be more intently listening to the whispers and commenting on the emotional hardcore/metalcore type screams at the end. Whatever happens, it will be a great reaction, as always, and we can all be less angry that we've waited 3 days for it! 🤘🤘

The ending for me makes me think of how abrupt and sudden death can be… I know that it was cut off at the end because it’s a trilogy of songs, but that’s what it reminds me of -the feeling of sadness of a loved one dying, then the anger, and finally the feeling of emptiness and nothingness. 😭 Beautifully done. P.S. Johnny, I love your Sleep Token shirt! 🤘🏻 WORSHIP!

I love Lorna’s solos. There are so many metal and especially deathcore and many other genres where the solos are technically correct and theoretically correct but they’re too fast or too technical or both so it has a fast, chaotic messy sound to it. Almost as if you were haphazardly sweeping and taping randomly through scales. But lorna really has a flow and a direction. It’s a vocal break to take a vibe ride to the next part of the song and the song perfectly pick up. The same song but now you’re ready for the next part. Just impeccable song writing and story telling.

The whole song / video is about a loved one going to die soon. Which almost never happens when you expect it. That's basically why the song ends so abruptly. Could be any minute. OR NOW! Or in 2 years. OR MAYBE 3 SECONDS AGO!
@Rexaroo2 жыл бұрын
The song ends abruptly because it's part 1 of 3, so the 2nd part starts immediately after. The 3 parts together will be 20 mins or so in length

this shows right here that their sound is evolving even with tiny things such as the drums opening up more in the first chorus and in second half of the second chorus, but the drums are also something i think that’s making people think they’re repetitive, i think the drums are overdone in a bunch of there songs and i’m hoping that’s something they work on in the other songs on the album rather than overbearing blast beats and double bass, sure they have their place, but sometimes it’s too much.
