Just a glimpse of the genius of their Songwriting : Part one is called Dancing like Flames, Part two After all I've done, I'll disappear. Part three In a Sea of Fire. Now, every title makes sense for each part an its own. The last three lines of the song ( between the two orchestral sections9) are : Dancing like flames // After all that I’ve done // I’ll salt the earth and disappear in a sea of fire.....simply epic.

Yeah that's an amazing detail.

Also another brilliant detail is in the final scene how in the silent of the song, before Will take aire an scream, she said "I love you" so clear, so pure... and them all burn in a sea of flames.

I'll never get over the perfect ending.. "Dancing like flames.. after all that i've done.. I'll salt the earth and disappear in a sea of fire." Just.. Cheff's kiss on the wrap up...

As someone who had to deal with suicidal thoughts I can tell you that music is great therapy. Music was what saved my life and songs like this trilogy are very important. Music like this can save lives.

When I watched the videos for the Pain Remains Trilogy the first time it brought me back to the rough few months I had in 2018 when I was compulsively suicidal. After a medication change during my third psychiatric hospital stay it finally stopped. A compulsively suicidal mind is a very scary thing. I haven't been there since the medication change, but I totally understand where the male main character in the video series is coming from. The songs make me cry every time I hear them and tend to leave me emotionally vulnerable afterward. Lorna Shore have songs that are not as emotionally heavy as Pain Remains, but they don't really have any "happy" songs.

This is such a dark emotional trilogy, a person going through the stages of grief and at the end also realizing that when the thing you love most in life is gone, a big part of you if not everything has fallen apart and maybe not so much physically but emotionally you just feel without life. Breathing without feeling the air, seeing the sun but not feeling it's warmth. But to all who have lost someone, carry on and be strong and don't ever burn the beautiful memories you have of that loved one. Awesome reaction to the trilogy Inna 😊👍💯

Despite the title "Cursed To Die" is a pretty happy song. So is "Sun//Eater".
@JariJuslin Жыл бұрын
I was going to suggest Sun//Eater, too. Lorna Shore does not have strictly happy songs, but lets face it, nothing they've done is a sad as Pain Remains, and nothing *most* bands have ever done is as sad as Pain Remains. So whatever Lorna Shore song you'll pick, it will be less sad.

The first time I watched this, at the end, I thought he was going to cover himself in the gas also, not just the house, because that's a way to say, "I'm going to suffer like you did in that hospital bed. I loved you that much." Watching that would've been SO much worse. But, like the video suggests, he did eventually burn with the house. Great reaction, Inna. Also, during the part before the heaviest part, Will said "bury me", not "pain remains". I know someone else pointed this out, but I thought to share it also. lol

I'm going to see them live in a month and I'm here hardening myself to the trilogy to not cry on the gig, but I am quite sure it won't work...

Yeah, I can’t think of any Lorna Shore songs that are happy. Just less painful. ‘Sun//Eater’ is easier, based upon the story of Icarus.

Never been a huge fan of grind core death metal, I think I can count on one hand how many songs from this genre I actually like, but I'm not gonna judge. Music is subject to preference. The video shows a lot of cinematic effort though.

@@jkorkea I'm not offended, I stopped trying to keep up newer metal genres from like the 90s forward. I won't bash on it, though, I refuse to turn into that grumpy old fart who complains about loud music. I was young once, like when dirt was new.
