My mom was a tree hugger. She absolutely loved trees her entire life. Fast forward to when she turned 80 years old. She was diagnosed with dementia & the only thing that would bring her back to us was taking her out into nature and letting her hug a tree. It was always such a beautiful connection to experience, and now I am finding myself pulling over on the side of the road, if I see a beautiful tree, so I can give it a hug, just like my mom used to. 🌳🌴🌲🤗

Spiritual and religious teachings are left to the parents in public schools. I love Lorna, but there would be plenty of conservative parents who wouldn't want their kids to be taught about environmentalism.

@@mygirldarby Opting out of environmental education isn't an option. Climate change is manmade. It's real and it's threatening to destroy us all if we don't take action. Recognizing this should be a qualification to run for public office. Climate change isn't debatable and we need to stop tolerating the oligarchs, fools, and narcissists who are spreading this nonsense. I have a big problem with bringing angels and Christian imagery into the discussion but environmental education in itself is no longer an option

You know when the brown trout kept looking at them through the zoomed camera lens, I don't think that brown trout just appeared there for no reason. And for Lorna to see that camouflaged brown fish with those brown stones is just incredible. I think the angel is super smart to make himself into a fish so Lorna will notice it and make an important message about the value of protecting our fish, too. Did you see, the fish is actually paying attention.😁

In the US, people who are against environmentalists call us "tree huggers" to mock us. One day, I was joking around with my mom while we were outside in her front yard, taking pictures. I wrapped my arms around the trunk of one of her tall trees and my mom took a photo of me being a "tree hugger." As i was playfully "hugging" the tree, I felt the love of that tree! It was such a nice feeling and it was unmistakably a feeling of love coming from the tree. Since then, I've hugged a couple of other trees and every time I feel that same feeling. It's true what she's saying about trees. They are aware, and they do feel love. Hug a tree really tight (when no one else is around, lol), and I bet you will feel that love from them too.

I am a tree hugger too. We were on vacation in California visiting the giant sequoias and I would rest my whole body on them and hug them. Incredible energy of peace, calm, love, just instantly felt it radiating into my body. People laughed and snickered at me as they walked by but I don’t care. I traveled all the way across the country to hug these trees. I don’t understand why people think it’s so weird. They really should try it sometime.😊

Can you imagine that even an angel transformed into a brown trout for you to see in the stream to add valuable information that - WE NEED TO PROTECT OUR FISH IN THE STREAMS, RIVERS, AND OCEANS. That brown trout - the only one in that stream is not a coincidence. The brown trout just kept looking at you like it was also attentively listening. It's like it's saying to Lorna - keep it going, mate! Incredible!

I feel their energy too! I have a tree in my yard and a few around the neighborhood that I feel really drawn to. I speak to them as often as I can. They are our friends and allies. They are pillars of God's light, anchoring love into the planet. If we tune in and meditate with them... they can share their wisdom with us. I have found that sometimes we have to build trust first though, because they can feel our energy too. I love trees. It's so nice to hear from others who do too! Sending love to you, and to all people, animals, plants, crystals, elementals, angels, magical creatures, to all light beings, to the earth, the sun, the moon, to the stars, to the planets, and to all of organic love-light creation. 🙏💚🌲🌳🌴

This past winter I was driving and thinking about someone who had just died tragically, and I suddenly felt at one with the entire universe and saw the trees as shining, shimmering fractals reaching up in joyful celebration towards the sun. After that, I started using my driving time as an opportunity to enjoy the trees. After awhile, I began thanking them, and soon I could feel them zoom me over a burst of energy after I expressed my gratitude. Feels like magic and love. Gaia is alive and strong and conscious and blesses us when we are aligned with the beating of her heart. The way I sync our heartbeat with the earth’s is I imagine roots stretching out from me and going deep into the ground and then I notice my breath coming in and out. I can feel when my breath clicks with her’s. It is so comforting and strong. Being connected to Gaia means first coming to terms with the careless devastation we’ve inflicted on her. It’s profoundly sad, but Gaia then gives you her strength in return. Just felt inspired to share that! ❤😊

Wonderful message Lorna! ❤ I used to solo backpack in the Sierra Navada mountains in California and it was during that time that I truly start noticing and appreciating Nature. At the end of the first multiday trip I ended up at the trashed rivier bank that was used by campers. After days spent in pristine backcountry, drinking water from the creeks and soaking up the beauty of the terrain, when I got to that camper’s hang out, i just could not stand seeing all the trash there. I felt like ppl were disrespecting my (our) best friend, who have so selflessly provided for me (us), and have filled my soul with beauty and happiness. I cleaned up the beach feeling that’s still not enough to give back. Ppl would care more if they personally connect with the Nature that provides for their daily needs.

I'm doing this on my property and I'm shocked that it makes my neighbors angry. They claim to love nature, yet they rip her skin off and leave her with no protection. They chop, poison, and burn her and then say, "Look how pretty my yard is, look how big my tomatoes are, rake up your leaves, pine needles, twigs and cones. They're making a mess & I don't like seeing them in your yard." What they don't realize is the trees are healthier, more full. The ground is more fertile. The insects and birds and other animals have more food and shelter. And it's just way more beautiful 😊.

I have a bit of land with a simple home in very rural Appalachia in the US. The same mountain chain that disappears off Maine and wiggles under water to pop back up in Scotland. A mountain chain older than trees. Older than bones. I am doing my best to give back here in Appalachia. However, your words have inspired me to try even harder. I am planting native bald cypress along the creek. Paw paws too. Service berry trees in open spots. I built a stone wall, full of tiny hiding places, behind the house as a home for lizards, snakes and invertebrates. All rapidly moved in. I am creating a 1/2 acre pollinator meadow out front with native species. The red honeysuckle vine brings hummingbirds in all summer. Bat boxes and bird houses are planned but I have to save for those. Perhaps next year a wildlife water feature refilled by the roof downspout outflow. Most every night I sit outside for a bit, looking at the stars and the trees silhouetted against the sky. I thank the forest for its presence. You might be surprised who pops up to converse. You just have to chose to listen. Be well.

I've been connected to nature since a wee tot. I remember being 3 and the only comfort and solace and connection I felt was when I would find a spot of my own with the trees, grass, dirt, flowers. I'd hide away and just sit within it and upon it. Now I'm 65 and it's still my greatest comfort and joy. I have 7 acres and I continue to plant trees regularly upon it. I'm always told how beautiful. They are my family. It's like a wildlife sanctuary as well.

It is very important to me to share this opportunity with others especially the parents. To teach them to take time out from everyday distractions, to go earthing, to be grounded...there isn't anything like it, & I wouldn't trade it for the world!! Bylo tak příjemné jít s Lornou na procházku. Jsem potěšena, že v Irslu rostou stejné rostliny jako v Čechách. Také ráda pečuji o úsek země, který mi byl svěřen

Thank you Lorna, there is a stand of old trees opposite us who have managed to remain despite being in a suburban area, They have kept me sane, especially through lockdown. Many of us do appreciate the things around us but we are unsure of how to connect with other people who feel the same way.

My husband and I are trying to plant trees in a very hopeless community, a refugee community in our country. We need all the help we can find to do this.

Gardening has been part of my Entire life over from 15 yrs old to 77 in Oct ,my daughter always said ,mum can grow anything ,they are afraid to die on her , my reply is the love I have for plants / Nature / planting / growing / Harvesting / flowers booming ,one little seed of bean can feed a family if enough are planted, often think what Heaven must be like ,because I have gardened through grief/ Sorrow/ loss / heartache / pain /Depressions and the one thing that has Never let me Down. Is the Garden ,moved many many times and left many loving plants to others ,often had a drive to see how they are doing ,as my babies ,on the outside of Houses .except the 9 yrs i lived I. Spain ..and the one year I lived in Mauritius can’t visit ,was a very private place off the road , but I see them growing in my minds eye ,all the trees as babies ,to teenagers to Adults .. no !! Only smoke cigarettes and don’t Drink … My Garden has been my life , my life is Empty without my Garden . Thank you Lord Thank you Mother Nature Stay blessed Gardeners of the world 🌍

Oh my God! I love nature so very much. I love it so much my heart aches.🙏🙏🙏🙏❤️❤️❤️❤️Thank you Lorna for enlightening people to the truth. My prayer now is for more to see and take time to watch this video. I’m in Canada and so many of our trees out west have burned to the ground. I pray for our Mother Earth.🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏❤️❤️❤️❤️

❤ Thank you for bringing us with you on your walk in the forest and helping us to see and feel it through your eyes. I try to do my bit on our patch of land by planting native trees. We recently created a natural pond, and already, it's filling with wildlife. Blessings to you 🙏 and I pray you get to protect the forest. ❤🌹

Lorna, I truly love trees and nature more than humans. I mean it is a way that I cannot deny. God knows how I feel because that is how close I can get to the Father is through his creation.
