Angela Rayner has been at the centre of media storm as MP's from all parties have rallied together and hit back over claims she used 'basic instinct tactics' to distract Boris Johnson - with the commons speaker, Sir Lindsay Hoyle, going as far to summon the Mail on Sunday editor to discuss the 'sexist' article published over the weekend. Today Angela, who has dismissed these claims as a ‘perverted smear’, joins Lorraine exclusively to talk about her views on whether parliament is a safe place for a woman to work, how Boris Johnson personally reached out to her, and why she doesn’t want this incident putting anyone off a career in politics.
