It's brilliant that Bonnie is coming back to Doctor Who next year! Especially after her cameo in Jodie Whittaker's final episode! I think Mel deserved another go in the TARDIS :)

It’s just crazy to think that Bonnie Langford was SO young at the time that she started, and that she has been in it for so long yet has still come out a well rounded grounded and normal human being. In her work as a child actress, she definitely gave off some Drew Barrymore/Dakota Fanning/Jodie Foster vibes, as she was quite talented and could do both comedy and drama equally well. Speaking of Dakota Fanning comparisons, they both came to public attention at around the same age: Bonnie was just 6 years old when she won the talent show Opportunity Knocks and kicked off her acting career, and Dakota was only 7 when she was in I Am Sam (not much older than Bonnie herself when she started out), the movie that launched her career, though I think she was 6 when she was cast.
