I love this one too. I have made numerous bags as gifts. My Daughter- in-law wanted a bigger bag. I am a Quilter so I quilted a bigger piece and made it into a bag. I am going to make this one too. Thanks. I am a visual learner and your tutorials are easy to follow.

Love this bag, and a great way to use up faux leather or marine vinyl. Could you Top Stitch the Faux Leather Down rather than up so you don't have a gap that can catch crumbs (from cookies of course) or would it be too thick? Also I would buy your 1.5 Inch Template if you had them available in your Etsy shop! Thanks again for another fast, fun and easy project & tutorial.

Monica Veintemillas you can absolutely add an interior zipper pocket. I try to keep these placemat projects simple. If I were to add a pocket to this bag I’d prob just add a simple Flat open top pocket but you could add a divider pocket with a zipper or a side pocket with a zipper if you wanted

Hi Lorrie, great tutorial. I was so excited to make one, and I decided to leave the zipper end long and do tabs. But without lining how do you leave them out without getting in the way. I can't figure it out. Thanks

Im trying to create my own bag design but I'm having trouble. How do you figure the boxed corner size in with the size of the bag? I mean, if you want a 10x12(random size) bag...how do you figure the measurements to include the boxed corners? P.S. I love your channel. Your videos are my top fav!!

I watched the lining video, but it left one question unanswered. How do you join the lining to the bag that already is bound at the top like this one... leaving that binding showing? ❤🌅🌵

Suzi SaintJames you would either cut it off, remove the binding or just leave it on and treat it the same way as if it were raw
