One of them played like a team, the others like 5 inflated superstars who fail because of their inflated egos, because none of them are willing to back down. The way Kyrie and Luca handle it is exemplary and the result is that Kyrie is experiencing his second spring. They both shine and still manage to score points almost perfectly. But I personally believe that the key to success is at the center position. Gafford was the missing link in the chain. Since he's been with the Mavs, practically since his first minute of play, he's always there when he's needed. Blocks and works, dunks like an animal and is served with millimeter precision by Luca and Kyrie. Maxi Kleber, too - as a German I'm naturally most pleased about this - is proving to be more and more of a sharpshooter. And the bench, the stuff and of course the coach, Crazy Mark Cuban and the greatest fan, DIRK. Go on Mavs and have a nice and relaxed weekend

Luka is so good its ridiculous. He dominates the game. Without him the Mavs are nothing. It's actually crazy the impact he has even if he is not hitting his shots. The passes, the vision, the rebounding, the shot creation for himself and his teammates. Nobody comes close. It's not fancy or flashy but often the real impact isn't flashy. It's in the shot creation, the outlet passes; the mastery of basketball fundamentals. And Luka as well as Jokic are masters at it. Sure, the casuals will always point out and favor the players with athletic dunks and the flashy dribbles and highlights, but the best basketball and the biggest impact most often is not on the flashy side and does not require any of that. That's why Luka and Jokic, who are not inherently incredibly athletic (relative to some other players) are the best basketball players in the entire league - and by a wide margin. They understand the game and play it the way it should be played. They don't chase highlights or keep the ball to themself in search for a highlight shot or dunk, they simply chose the best option to score at that moment in time. Adding on top of that, they are the best individual scorers in the league too.
@skyh23948 ай бұрын
Jokic is the best player in the league by a wide margin, they're not on the same level. One is a x3 MVP, x1 champ and x1 FMVP leading 8/9 advanced stats for the 4 STRAIGHT year. The other....em....has a scoring title and made it to one WCF.

@ColdHoops2021your using his first few seasons in the league against him when he was drafted to the worst team that was a disaster of a franchise?😂, and he didn’t win in 2021 because giannis injured him.

Harden actually played well in a closeout game. Didn't shoot well, but 13 assist to 1 turnover is phenomenal. But this game looked more like a game between Detroit and boston in the regular season, than a playoff game

He should’ve got Westbrook’s field goal attempts this series. He shot 48% fg 43% 3 in regular season. Woulda been able to put up 20+ if they have him more shots.
