gotta say michael a Taylor has been good so far and he has a good postseason record. he's got a lot of talent he just needs to be more consistent
@HoboWithBacon5 жыл бұрын
I remember him when they were in the play offs with the Cubs. He was carrying the rest of the Nats. Glad he's doing well this postseason.
@carlfrye15665 жыл бұрын
He needs to play every day to get his hitting consistent, postponing makes him anxious at the plate and he chases pitches trying to always do something big. He hit pretty well the year he played, but Rizzo went after a free agent instead of letting him play center field. Rizzo got one of those forgettable center fielder/leading hitters he always chased until Robles came along. I don't see MAT ever playing much more than he did this year unless there is an injury and no one wants that. If he could adjust to hitting as if his job didn't depend on it I believe he would be more consistent. He had a good post season this year.

Im a Dodger fan and I’m very upset how this series is going, what a mess. But us fans can’t be giving up. We could win on Wednesday the only thing is Dave Roberts can’t be dumb and Cody Bellinger has to step it up especially AJ. Our offense can’t be scared of Strasbourg. We can’t let the nationals win this series. LETS GO DODGERS
@brianchua42405 жыл бұрын
I hope you're right, but right now, they really did this to themselves. Offense can't get their shit together against the Nat's starting staff. Aside from Bellinger, it's Seager who's been a mess as well.

eh, not to worry, dodgers had to fly back to l.a. no matter what, might as well play a game. strasburg is an issue tho, right about that. 2nd time thru so hopefully they learned something. we shall see. need a good one out of buehler.

Why did he take out Maeda? Hes a starter that was converted to a reliever. He is able to throw a lot of innings and was dealing. Roberts always finds a way to over manage. He needs to know when to let a pitcher continue and who to put in at specific moments
@TPTGopher4 жыл бұрын
Robert's didn't get nearly enough discredit for that move, especially since he pinch-hit Pollock with one out and the bases empty - I was at this game, and the way he'd been balling, you could feel the atmosphere in the park change with the realization that Maeda was out the game.

not a big fan of either team, kind of rooting for the dodgers. but a big fan of dave martinez, an original devil ray. turned out to be a great series.

So wait they can play in pouring rain in this game but they needed a 24 minute rain delay for light rain in Game 7 of the 2016 World Series? Oh wait, the Cubs don't need the momentum shifted back to them in this game. I forgot.

I don’t know who Rich Hill’s agent is but the dudes only made 67 mil as a career 3.38 ERA starting pitcher over 12 years…that’s about 63,000,000 more than I’ll make my entire life ( probably) but still, seems low..

As a Dodger fan, can't say I was surprised or upset at this. I had a feeling Dave was going to overuse his bullpen. Hill has been on the IL for too long and it showed with all those walks. I am not liking LA's chances in Game 5 even at home with the Nats' one man army in Strasburg pitching with that type of offense. Yes they had 10 runs but that was because the Nats bullpen just COLLAPSED in game 3. It will still be a good game I hope with Buehler most likely but at this point, anything can happen. One L away from potential mockery by Dodger haters LOL
@joshfaye33005 жыл бұрын
Yeah dude.. why do they always choke in the playoffs??? I know we have one more game left but shit... it’s aggravating

@@joshfaye3300 you guys need a big one out of walker buehler, you know stephen strasburg will be bringing the heat.

@@joshfaye3300 one of my friends who's a Giants fan had a very true take. The players play for fame in LA, not for the ultimate victory. That seems true right now. Tomorrow night would be either make it or break it up for the whole organization. Prepare the nuke or hold it?
@brianchua42405 жыл бұрын
@@tomitstube he completely wiped out Kershaw in Game 2. With the rate it's going, I would have to bet Strasburg would be the same again. Buehler can pitch, my biggest problem is can he keep it up though? I won't be surprised if the final score is Nats 5-1 Dodgers last 2 elimination games, 5-1 losses AT HOME. Offense is still as stubborn as it was YEARS ago. I knew this series was no gimmie with Strasburg, Scherzer, and Corbin.
@tomitstube5 жыл бұрын
@@brianchua4240 it's really hard to say, dodgers have definitely not been able to finish wash. off, momentum has gone back and forth, and there's the 3 out of 5 scenario, personally i hate these short series, especially the wild card playoff. you can only hope the dodgers have a fresh memory of strasburg and have learned a couple things that will help. it's up to roberts to put together the best line up against strasburg, and if that means benching a starter, then he needs to do it. never liked the nationals for some reason, will be rooting for l.a. good luck.

The Dodgers are pathetic. Bellinger is never good in the post season. I believe this is over for LA on wed. They have no one ab. Lux ,pollock,smith are a joke. So many rookies wont get you anywhere.
@brianchua42405 жыл бұрын
As a Dodger fan, you are absolutely right. I knew at some point their "explosive" offense from the regular season would just get exposed. I am flabbergasted that even Dodger fans on twitter are shocked. Corbin, Scherzer, and of course Strasburg are no joke. Would I want LA to pull it off and advance? Of course. Would I be surprised if they lose Wednesday night and suffer the ultimate mockery? No. Will it hurt? Yes but not to a huge degree cuz they've already shattered my hopes on them.
@catopwnzify5 жыл бұрын
@@brianchua4240 This was the last chance they had before a lot of Dodger contracts are up. I believe the Dodgers had it in 17. They allowed so many things slip. Pollock was never a good pick up . DJ lemah would have been the answer. Puig came clutch so many times for the dodgers. We have belllinger who is an absolute monster in the regular but in the post he is another person. Its been a good ride for Dodger fans. Its over now.
@brianchua42405 жыл бұрын
@@catopwnzify tbh, it wasn't DJ or Pollock on my to get list. It was Marwin Gonzalez. I would have preferred him. Puig did well for LA, but his attitude and contract statis wasn't going to get it done unfortunately. Bellinger has become the ARod (not steroids) of the postseason. Dominate the regular season, stunk it up in the playoffs. Also that damn pitching. If they think next year they can get by with a battered Kershaw, a young Buehler, a very RAW pitcher in May and Gonsoln, that front office clearly needs to get checked. Ryu is looking for a new contract and I don't trust his fluky season. Hill is gone since he's old. And the bullpen, it's TERRIBLE period. 2017 WAS their best chance, but they reverted back to the typical hit it all or K Dodgers. Frustration to the point where I don't even trust them anymore. Still will root for them, but optimism is barely there.

Really? And you guys are Dodger fans. I admit this series is so upsetting and Dodgers always do mess up. But it’s not over. It’s not like we’re down 2-0 in the series. We both need to win one more time and Dodgers can step it up. The only thing is our offense cant be scared of Strasbourg and strike out a billion times and DAVE ROBERTS can’t be stupid. We deserve this. Lets win game 5. We did it last time we could do it again
@catopwnzify5 жыл бұрын
@@brianchua4240 The fact you spoke on Marwin Gonzalez brings joy to me. He would have been a solid pick . The Dodgers have struk out a total of 52 times this series. It's a lot. They have been dominated. They are a team that can bring so much trouble but the offense is slacking once again. We have rookies who have potential but thats years to come. Its not right now. I would have love to see Russ Martin leave with a ring. Amazing career.
