Honestly u can’t hate the dodgers for chocking it’s not there fault, for example bellinger he’s good in the off season but not in the playoffs it’s because the pitchers get better when you r in the playoffs, and u can’t hate kershaw for choking he’s plays his heart out but they just hit the home runs, joe Kelly is the same thing, he maybe just needs to fix his mechanics but overall the dodgers r a great team, they have a lot of potential just not rn, if you were in there shoes it would of been hard to hit a 95 fastball or even a curve, every player tries there best so just don’t be hating on teams

@@fortnite_plazzz0556 you lose as a team. You can't blame Chokeshaw or joe kelly for blowing it. They had 3 outs to score 4 runs, anything can happen, and they're the Dodgers. But they couldnt get it done. They werent cheated out of nothing this year. They just can't do it. Since im not a Dodger fan im absolutely okay with it. That's baseball

Kershaw should be a duel threat guy moving forward. He could be a 7th inning reliever and a #3 starter.
@fatshibaballs
@fatshibaballs 4 жыл бұрын
He still held up a 3.03 ERA and almost a below 1.000 WHIP. In the regular season, there's still no doubt about it, he's a god. He also has the 4th lowest career WHIP of ALL TIME. Two of which dont really count since it was the dead ball era with spitballs and dirtier style of play. Pitchers are old. Always have been. Kershaw's problem isn't his age. He just clearly can't focus during a postseason game. I don't know why they pulled his notoriously choking ass during the most crucial moment. They had so many better options than Ker... Maybe they should just all fool kershaw and act like it's a normal game...
@whywelovefilm7079
@whywelovefilm7079 4 жыл бұрын
His age has nothing to do with it. Kershaw has NEVER shown up when it counted. During the Regular Season he has some of the greatest years in MLB History. But from the beginning, he has never been able to get the job done in the Playoffs. Not once. Yeah, he's old now and that was a factor this year. But it wasn't like Kershaw was some All-Time Clutch player who was now old and was out there giving it everything he had to pull it off one more time. It wasn't like that at all. It was the same Kershaw who shrinks when it counts the most, only now he was old too. I'm sorry man, I'm born and raised in LA and have been a Dodger fan my whole life. As much as it hurts to say this, it doesn't make it any less true. Young or old, Clayton Kershaw has never been able to win the big game. He has blown it countless times in the biggest games. It's become so frequent that everyone automatically got nervous when they took out Buehler and put in Kershaw. Everyone already knew. And the fact Dave Roberts would even put him out there should be enough to get him fired. I dont really want to get into Dave Roberts because he should've been fired. When the Dodgers lost to the Red Sox 2 years ago, I understand that. The Red Sox were an unbelievable team and their players gave some of All-Time performances. They were just better. Nothing you can do but tip your cap to them. Although him pulling Rich Hill in Game 4 cost them the game just like pulling him in Game 2 of 2017 cost him the game. But he blew it in 2017 against the Astros. He shouldve never started You Darvish in Game 7. Darvish didn't even et out of the 2nd inning in Game 3 and you could tell the Astros were all over him. He shouldve went with Alex Wood, who won Game 4 already. Even if he didn't pitch at the same elvers as Game 4, he would've kept you close and it would've been a completely different game. Decisions like that cost the Dodgers in 2017, and dumb decisions got them knocked out in the NLDS. Sorry for the rant but I've been wanting Dave Roberts fired for a long time now...

As a Dodger fan, Idk if I can say I am heart broken cuz I knew they were going to choke regardless. The Dodgers have shattered my heart YEARS ago that I honestly feel nothing but emptiness. Having said all that, I extend my congratulations to the Nationals. What a well-deserved victory for you guys! Good luck in the NLCS and avenge your 2012 lost!!!

yeah, same with me; I KNEW they were gonna fail; I have often thought how pathetic all the Dodgers fans were -being confident they were gonna win. I just thought: NO! because the lovable losers spirit has crept back into them, when I thought it was left in Brooklyn

@@zzludzz the worst part, they wasted Buehler's playoff performance AGAIN! Last year his Game 3 against Boston was a classic, only for Dave and the bullpen to be wasted. Upper management treating the farm system like it's untouchable.

They're certainly hitting better than the stros right now. Barreling a lot of baseballs. I predict rays but even with lack off hitting, Astros got feel pretty good with Cole starting. Rays pull it out in late innings

you never know man...I bet Cash was watching both games..away teams winning...he saw wht the Nats did with Stras and Corbin..with Stras and Max...id like to see him throw tht kitchen sink at the Astros..put all his cards out and see wht he gets..Glasnow is good..follow him up with Morton or Snell even for an inning..lets see if they did their hw against 15k Cole. Astros tried to bully their way to the ALCS w/Verlander and that burned em..Rays playing with a lot of heart..

I almost kinda think the Dodgers should ship Kershaw after this. They can clearly take the hit that will happen to their record by not having him in the regular season, and it'll take away their temptation to lean on him in the postseason. Maybe new scenery will be good for him too.

You'd figure that it is a given not to put the ball in Kershaw's hand in a crunch situation. Lead or not, Kershaw has crumbled in these type of moments. After giving up that first HR, Roberts should have pulled him. Bad call to keep him in there and it cost them dearly. Props to the Nats. They were resilient. They deserve their spot in the NLCS.

once strasburg settled down and put up a couple zeros it started to creep into the mind of every dodger fan... they're going to leave this guy in until the nationals can get to dodger pitching. which they did. everyone wants to blame kershaw and kelly but national pitching *shut down* dodger hitters for the last 8 innings. 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0. the dodgers only got 2 hits after the 2nd inning. a bit of hilarity. after the grand slam you can hear one guy yelling "let's go dodgers". wonder if he was an angry dodger fan, or a national fan?

Our problem was our reliance on rookie players with no experience in the majors before, lack of Barnes gold glove catching, Kershaw. Taking pitching name, rather than actual good relievers like Báez, Kelly and May over Ferguson, Garcia, and Sadler. But will the owners hear our our cries no, screw this team. They’ll never win.
