I would like to thank my LGBTQIA+ family, friends, cohorts for inviting me to walk and stand with them at the LA Pride Parade 2024 in Hollywood, CA!

In this video we walk in the LA Pride Parade 2024! It was my first time. It was pretty fun. It meant a lot to me that my friends from the LGBTQIA+ community asked me to join, and it meant a lot to them that I showed up. This Parade was on June 9, 2024 and it was on Highland Ave to Hollywood Blvd to Cahuenga Blvd.
I already got some flack for doing this and being there, but it's something I wanted to do - LOVE and SUPPORT my friends. To be completely honest, I thought it was going to be very crazy with people doing a lot of crazy things. That's my bad for "assuming" that. Overall it was a fun, supportive parade. Although there were some craziness going on, it was mostly like 95% a parade with kids, families, young, old, members of the LGBTQIA+ community, cis allies showing support, and just all around fun with a good mix of different people from different backgrounds.
I started off trying to find parking. I was supposed to meet at 10:30am, and I got there around 11am - when the parade started. I thought I was late, but it was alphabetical (I think) and we were "C" at number around the 30s. I assume this because "D" Disney was not far after us. And "U" USC was at number 115. We waited there for probably around 45 minutes because it was our turn to start walking.
The walking was about 1 hour, and we got A LOT of cheers. It was nice to see so many people in support! We even passed by ABC7. I wanted to touch tips of flags with people, but they thought I was trying to give the flags away! Luckily the sun wasn't out - it was pretty cloudy most the day, and throughout the whole parade.
When we were done with the parade, the rest of the parade still went for about 2 hours more. I ended up going to the festivities and the booths on Hollywood and Vine. Then we ended up eating at Taco Bell Cantina - they sell alcohol there! I thought the prices were pretty normal, not ridiculous.
Then ended the day at around 3:30pm, then went home.
THANK YOU to everyone I met that day, and to my friends who invited me. It was a fun time, and so much LOVE was shared.
*There is a part around the 25-minute mark that KZbin wanted out lol. It was at the Funko Pop store.

Just trying to have fun wherever we go. I'm usual around Orange County and Los Angeles County and the surrounding counties. I like to go to Las Vegas often and also Hawaii.
If you want to suggest spots for me to see or take on, please leave it in a comment!
