Never got motion sickness on a train before, but this stretch of the red line... ooog.

Hubby and I used this line to visit Universal Hollywood. Handy service from Union Station if you are coming into LA on Pacific Surfliner, but I have never seen so many armed guards before in and around a subway line. It was quite alarming to this Vancouverite.

Ma i cavi elettrici per il pantografo dove sono? forse quei 2 attaccati li alla parete del tunnel? in alto?

If you go to AnsaldoBreda's website you'll find out. Most trains of that kind don't go above 70 mph (113 km/h).

in la the whole redline is in a tunnel, along with other rails, some are outside but those are just the "light rails"

Different forces, some looked like transit police, some were in more city cop looking uniforms, some looked distinctly military. It was a bit of a shock to a couple of Vancouverites. Maybe that's just the price of living in a big US city. Anyway Red Line is a lifesaver for tourists.

Is that the train's top speed for most of the video?
@savagedoritos65875 жыл бұрын
That is 70 mph
@360Sebastian36010 жыл бұрын
as far as I know the top speed in this section of the tunnel is 70 m.p.h. but it would be interesting to know otherwise.... and also the trains have automatic control so top speed should be pretty consistent...

The purple line will, but the chance that the red line will extend is relatively low, unless it extends to Burbank airport, then to Burbank downtown, I’m not to sure though, we’ll have to see.

Very peculiar. I can tell you with certainty that I have only seen the Sherriff's dept patrol the stations. They are the ones in the brownish uniforms. I don't think I have never seen police officers (in the blue uniform) as this is not their jurisdiction usually. And there is no way there would have been anything remotely close to a military presence or anything that should resemble that. But I'm glad you took the redline. Can't wait to visit Vancouver myself.

Nice video. See mine of 80 MPH operation under Brooklyn/Queens.

Armed guards? Really? Do you mean police offices or Metro Sheriffs (police authority over Metro trains/busses)?
