You are immeasurably under the radar. The quality of this video, including all the pure analog shots you've captured, is matchless. Love how you gave each chapter a musical identity and how you combined the chapters. I don't know what you were using for video, but if all these shots are graded X100V F-Log-shots, then you are probably the only person with this camera who created something so cinematic with it. You emulated the film look on point! Great eye for framing aswell! Watched the whole video with my mouth wide open and 14 minutes felt like five. Seriously, this is top tier level. Feeling motivated to shoot now myself!

He mentions in other comment all videos are captured with xt4, 24 and 50 anamorphic lenses from Sirui. But his usual run and gun set up is usually 16 f1.4 with 1 Glimmerglass

You win KZbin. Heck you win art. Love this so much. The facial expression when you were looking at the photos on the wall, it reminds me of a movie I’ve seen before. Did you get any inspiration for that sequence?
@serr2 жыл бұрын
Thanks so much Reggie. Your support means a lot. Honestly, I’m sure the inspiration for that sequence came from a movie, but that was just the first facial expression that happened when filming myself looking at the wall lol

Love the attention to detail throughout this video. Chapter 2 title was in black and white to match the BW film, while all the other chapters were in color. And the white balance in the beginning when he was looking at the the wall that was missing photos was cool, to signify he was feeling melancholy. And towards the end same shot was warm signifying happiness and content. Brilliant.

this video was soo good....the moment I saw the thumbnail, I stopped and saved the video I knew it was something different and I should see it. The thumbnail itself was telling so much stories. Coming to the video I had a smile for the whole time the video was playing, so beautiful the framing the storyline and the music used complemented so much to the vibe of the place, everything was in perfect sync. Loved the shot where you sit in the car and start driving beautiful framing for that. And the thought of splitting everything into chapters was very good. The story begins with the author (you) waking up to his wall of pictures and wanting to go out and click some more, the morning has hope, the noon is filled with hustle and bustle and the night is lively. Loved the grains in the photos taken in chapter 3. Lastly I want to say thank you for creating something like this and inspiring me, hope to see more such stuff in future!

The black and white... holy smoke!! As a person who shoots ACROS (using X-T30 paired with XF35mmF2), the images that I usually get are hella sharp. We tend to get used to it (the sharpness) due to the fact that we are living in the ocean of billions of digital images. Shooting film reminds us of the OG photography - shooting photographs with souls and feelings. All in all, thanks man. You are dope. Fricking dope, my guy!
