I used a salon chair as a dolly with a wide angle scooting across a smooth wooden floor - and the results were outstanding. Heres another trick - if youre shooting a beverage commercial, stick a light underneath the bottle to get q better outline. Looks supercool

Can believe I only found your channel today, first video I saw was your one about anamorphic lenses. Bro you honestly are one of the best cinematographer tips and tricks KZbinrs I’ve ever seen! You keep it straight forward and to the point and give genuinely useful tips. The suitcase idea is genuinely something that I would’ve never thought of, and I’m sure many people that don’t have anything to stabilise their cameras with would find that useful, I might even use it sometime, if I even still have my old suitcase 😂

My tip. When you said you use a black pro-mist filter for every lens you own. That usually means buying the same filter in many different diameter sizes for each lens. You can save some money, and lugging around a bunch of filters by buying the biggest filter you can get, usually 82mm then just use some step up rings for lenses that have a smaller diameter. I’m sure you already know this but It’s a good tip for beginners before they buy a million filters.

Im now at a point in life where i do not want to have any regrets, and im steeping out of my comfort zone and embarking on a new chapter into being a videograoher as my side gig to my main job. I always lived with regret and not pursuing my dreams right out of my high school . Instead i followed the norm of society and got a degree in which i dont even use. So its now or never.
