6:00 my experience is it just misses sometimes where some other cameras would hit easily. I account for it by taking more shots or by click to focus.

I also find the GR IIIx to be sharper than the X100V. I use the 71mm crop mode a lot. Outdoor View Setting at +2 makes the LCD a little more usable in sunlight. Which recipe is the one that you like most?

i’m liking royal supra because it’s similar to one of my x100v settings. color chrome is another setting i saved, and that’s great too! what about you?

Royal Supra is such a vibe! I tweaked Positive Film to resemble Reggie’s Portra, the go-to recipe on my X100V. Now that Reggie picked up a GR IIIx, I’m waiting for him to drop an official version.

I have a g80 for video and I’m thinking about something like a GRIIIX or X100v(which is out of my budget😢) for photography in general. Would u redcommend it?

while i 100% recommend the gr iiix, the x100v is also an amazing camera (if you're able to find a stockist). it really comes down to your needs - if you need/want something that is more portable, the gr is great. like the fuji, the gr is also heavy in terms of pricing but i say it's definitely worth the investment. if it helps, i find myself reaching for the gr for everyday use, and x100v for something more specific like a sunset walk or a location-specific shoot. there's also fuji x-t4 you can look at! the x-t4 is interchangeable, which is something both gr and x100v don't offer
