Thank you so much for making things that easy and simple. Just moved from Spektrum (still like it) to FRsky RS series and your videos are amazing. 👌

Newbies are blessed to have you teach them so systematically and comprehensively with getting a new model ready for its first flight. Loved the practical demos especially measuring throws and showing the effect of CG and Expo. Summarising the key points all part of good pedagogy. Great video Darren. Please consider doing a video on the actual first flight, trims, adjusting CG, what to look for to improve flight characteristics etc?

This is a really good video you covered everything even the fuel line on the clevis. I love fpv but LOS is so worth the frustration. Wera screwdrivers are the best I see you have nice taste.

Thank you. It's always great to hear such positive feedback :) Those screwdrivers are damn good. No slipping at all.

Hey Darren loved this series! it helped me immensely thank you. I have one question how do I activate the flap elevator mix? I know where it is in the menu just can't figure out how to implement. I have the X20S.

Hi Daren Great video and pace, but I still need to solve one problem, that’s aileron diff. As most large gliders need this to prevent adverse slipping in turns. I know that offsetting the horns can do this, but when crow brakes are used then opposite diff. Is needed to get the aileron to go down far enough to lift the wing. Hope that’s clear enough so once again help! Regards Clive

Hi Clive. For that I would set up the ailerons central with the full throw needed for the crow. Then use the mixer to reduce the weight for the aileron function (you can also add differential in the mixer).

There seems to be something strange/confusing with that CG drawing. It shows that the CG could be anywhere between the leading edge and about 45% back from there (Arrows on the marker lines and CG BullsEye Targets). IIRC I've never seen a CG point on the leading edge of a single wing plane. Beginners would be completely confused by those drawings... IMO

To be honest, II don't think the lines are a problem. That is the standard way of showing where you measure from, and where you measure to. The problem is where they show the CG marker. It should be on the back line, not the front line. I guess where this is a more advanced plane, Dynam were a little slack here. Bad Dynam! I'll add another video on CG alone.
