There was a girl, who had, what I can only describe as, a violent love for life. And she somehow brought it into my life quick and hard, like a laugh you cant hold back. She sadly loved it so hard that it killed her, she died how she lived and even tho I'd rather have her be here, I do envie her for it. I'm dying too, slowly, in a boring way. But sometimes I stumble across a song, a hint of a feeling, that takes me right back.. standing shivering in the cold rain as the realization of my feelings for her finally start dawning on my stupid brain.. feeling like I had just upset her.. only for her to just suddenly hug me from behind.. one of her warm, tight hugs that just made you feel like you belong there, it was summer and I was alive, perhaps for the very first and last time :')

I heard this song at the end of the best day of my life, it was Friday May 22, 2015, that day I went early to the post office to pick up some new headphones that I bought online, (at that time I had an Xperia z2 and hearing aids would also be of that brand), then I had to go to school, I was 16 years old, a single week after turning 17, (it was disgusting in love, I had no partner). Upon entering the school we were informed that we would not have classes, but that we had to be locked up until 17:40, it was unfair, I and a large group of friends planned to go out the back, after planning well we jumped one by one, In total there were 15 of us, when we left the police chased us and we hid in a house of an acquaintance of mine, after that we planned to go out to a park to play or something, in that park there were kids from the best school in the city with their teachers (Private school) while we were from it, we ate stuffed rice that we bought for a dollar and drinks in bags in front of them without caring about their opinion. Finally with the uniform on we took off all our shoes and ran on the grass while a late afternoon sun made our faces shine, in the end we all laughed lying on that grass. Already at 9pm that day I came across this song thanks to LA ZONA CERO, and I listened to them with my new headphones, EXCELLENT DAY

Went watching these a few years ago in the O2 academy in Liverpool, my first ever gig and one I will never forget. As you walked in the band were sat in a small room to the left with the door half open practising and nobody batted an eyelid. Love those small venues.

The beats yeah, they were coming out the speakers And were winding up straight in your sneakers And I'm dancing like every song he spins is bis Or like all my dance heroes would if they existed And yeah it's sad that you think that we're all just scenesters And even if we were its not the scene you're thinking of To taking props from nineties boy band fashions All crop tops and testosterone passion If there's one thing that I could never confess It's that I can't dance a single step It's you, it's me And there's dancing It's you, it's me And there's dancing Not sure if you mind if I dance with you But I don't think right now you care about anything at all If only there were clothes on the floor I'd feel for certain I was bedroom dancing And it's all flailing limbs at the front line Every single one of us is twisted by design And dispatches from the back of my mind Says as long as we're here everything is alright If there's one thing that I could never confess It's that I can't dance a single step It's you, it's me And there's dancing It's you, it's me And there's dancing If there's one thing that I could never confess It's that I can't dance a single step One thing that I could never confess It's that I can't dance a single step It's you, it's me And there's dancing It's you, it's me And there's dancing It's you, it's me And there's dancing It's you, it's me And there's dancing And I always get confused, because in supermarkets they turn the lights off when they want you to leave, but in discos they turn them on. And it's always sad to go, but it's never that sad, Because there's only so many places you're guaranteed of getting a hug when you leave. And then on the way home, it always seems like a good idea to go paddling in the fountain, and that's because it IS a good idea. And were just like, how Rousseau depicts man in the state of nature: we're undeveloped, we're ignorant, we're stupid, but we're happy.

Disappointed it took me until when I watched The Mitchells Vs. the Machines to find this song, masterpiece of a movie that it is. Awesome animated video, zany and fun, and the song is just a bop!
