Thanks for the great reaction to Los Jaivas and this classic! 🙂 This song is pure magic. It's from 1972. They mix rock with andean folk and instruments. They are a real legend in Chile and Southamerica and are still active. Some of the members passed away, but they are celebrating 60 years of work. Imagine that! You have to react to "La Poderosa Muerte" or "Sube a nacer conmigo hermano" in Machu Pichu. The drummer, Gabriel Parra (RIP), was a master. Was replaced by his daughter Juanita.

Los Jaivas comenzaron a hacer música a fines de los años 60 y aún están activos. Ellos son gente increíble, maravillosos músicos que han dedicado seis décadas de su vida a crear armonías perfectas, música original sin comparación.... Quienes se pueden comparar a "Los Jaivas"??.... Nadie. No hay ninguna banda que se les iguale. Disfruten de la genialidad de estos músicos que mezclan distintos estilos principalmente el rock y el folclor latinoamericano. 👏👏👏👏👏
