Wrong. He played his partners and the a d split because of him. They started 2 new bands because Cruz Martinez the original creator of the band and composer for the group and Quitanilla the co-founder were in battle for the name. A few years ago it was official cruz Martinez hot the keep the group and is making a come back hopefully this year they finally make a tour in the states and release a new album.

Cruz Martínez registered the name of the group in Mexico and can only use it there. A.B registered it here in the United States, For that reason Cruz Martinez cannot do concerns with the group here in the USA. So A.B decided not to use the name of Kumbia King to make the groups that already had.
