Of all the times they have played this song this right here is the best. David Hildago's guitar work is supreme and one of the best guitar bridges ever played by anyone.

Nice tune and a great guitar bridge but absolutely horrible lyrics. Change "America" to "Mexico" and you'll have some truth.
@mdmejia676 жыл бұрын
Jim Deferio are you saying there isn't truth because they sing America instead of Mexico? Go to news websites and you will find a boat load of stories that relate to this song on a daily basis throughout the country. Growing up not too far from East LA where they are from this song reminds me of my childhood where lives were lost and dreams were shattered. On a side note I am the young boy who became a cop.
@JimDeferio6 жыл бұрын
@@mdmejia67 Lost and shattered by blacks and Chicanos!
@mdmejia676 жыл бұрын
Jim Deferio yes in the Black and Chicano communities. You don't think Whites have their dreams shattered by other whites? Look at most school shooters who make the news, not Black not Chicano. Correct me if I am wrong but wasn't the Vegas shooter White as were most of his victims. Same for Ian David Long and the shooting at the Thousands Oaks country bar. I am pretty sure their lives and their families lives have been shattered. Most serial killers, not Black not Chicano.
@mdmejia676 жыл бұрын
Jim Deferio Jim Deferio yes I am familiar with the stats. I listen to Larry Elder. Yes I am aware of the lack of fathers in kids lives also lack of education. However, my reply towards yours was regarding the "truth" in this song. Also I never said the few Whites who kill equal the thousands of Blacks or Chicanos who kill. Because when you or a loved are the victim it's not a numbers game. People can say well others do it more but I don't think that brings comfort to the victims and their families.
